no way... I will always hate the dolphins for ever and ever. Just because they suck and the pats are good doesnt change my feelings on them. They could go 0-16 for a decade straight and I would still hate them (I would love it though too!) I can't hate the patriots out of jealousy. I do hate Beliprick more than any other coach, but I have a certain respect for their players because they are underappreciated by fans, media, and even the organization who is bush-league by not paying them the money they deserve or resigning them. Plus, although he kills us, I have to respect Brady, the man might finish his career being the best quarterback ever..sucks that he plays in our division but still hes awesome... And although their fans may be punks, at least they are passionate (that is after the Red Sox lose in October anyway) The Dolphins on the other hand, represent all that is bad in football. Their flashy, whimpy jerseys and whimpy players. Hell even the name Dolphins, is a joke for a football team.Their fans are pathetic.Their "legendary" coach was a cheater, and their "record-setting, hall of fame" QB was a choker and not a team player. Not too mention we have a great history with them with some memorable, and not so-memorable games.
Always been the Bills for me. I went to school in Rochester NY (Bills Country), so for 4 years I could not deal with Jill Fans and their BS. But I am three years removed from the Cloudy Shadows of Rochester and the Patriots have pissed me off to no end. I do not really care about their recent prosperity, it truly is their organization. From Kraft on down, they are as LT says, classless. BB is the poop on the cake, he is a lowlife, one hell of a coach, but a piece of trash. I hate the Fins too, I guess there is just enough hate to go around.
Yeah, Belichik hating the Jets will have a huge effect if he sticks around there for more than another season or two. The Jets-Fins rivalry was built around Don Shula's hatred of the Jets. One other quick note: it's hard to have a nose-to-nose grudge rivalry when one of the teams is much better than the other as the Jets are vis-a-vis the Fins right now, but that never stopped the rivalry in the 70's when the Jets sucked and the Fins were good and then respectable.
Just the memory of Bellichick handing that piece of scrap paper with scribbled "I resign as HC of NYJ's" to a startled Steve Gutman. He crapped on both the NYJET organization and every one of it's fans. That alone is almost enough reason to infinitely despise the Pats.
For some reason Taylor keeps my haterd of the fish alive, he is one prick! I have enormous respect for Brady, reinforced after last weeks game against the Chargers, if we had a poll just now I would probably go with my hate for the Pats, if I'm being honest I would say my hate for Red Sox colours my judgement. If you had asked me this question in 1986, there is no doubt in my mind I would have said that the Dolphins were our most hated rival. Today, that team is the Pats. TBTF

Dolphins hands down. My cousin is a big Phins fan and we used to argue about who was better, Rob Moore or Irving Fryer. Yea, I didn't have too much to stand on in that one, but I argued none the less. The fake spike is hardwired into my brain. Growing up it seemed like the Phins we're always .500 or better, and I really hated that. I remember us getting destroyed in Miami on opening day like 52-10, and my cousin putting it in my face all day. I wished we had consistency like that and wondered what exactly the Phins we're doing that made them a lock for the playoffs most years. Nowadays it's fun too watch them "flounder" there way through the season. The fact that they swear there so good, yet continue to suck it up on the field makes for a fun year outside of the Jets happenings. I hate the Patriots too, but I can remember when they we're one of the worst teams around and for some reason I don't recall most of the 90's games. I used to hate the Colts more then the Pats.
For me, it is now the Patriots. There's not even a close second. If I get time later tonight, I'll list all the reasons why.

I would say never.... I have hated the Phins since birth and will so until death. I was a young kid when Shula screwed the Jets in the mud bowl and I had to watch the networks man love with Dan "I lost by 60 points in my last game" Marino. I hate Manning more than Brady and the networks would have you believe that even Brett Favre is a better QB than Brady. I have respect for the Pats but non for Bellichickeshit. Whats funny is my buddy is a Bills fan and even he hates the Phins more than the Jets or Pats.
...I guess because I've lived in S FL for almost 30 years, it is, and will always be the Dolphins. Mainly because of their fans. Absolutely the most clueless fans of any team. At this time I hate Brady and JT equally as much, but as far as a 'team' goes it's still the 'phins... Have I mentioned that I hate them yet?
I hate the phins, I always get extra-pumped up for the games against them no matter how bad or good both teams are. I just think that all our games against them are huge. I hate the patriots more than miami though. I can't stand how the media fawns over them all the time. The expierence factor, Tom "God" Brady, everything bellicheck, the Krafts, Boston as a whole, winning super bowls by field goals, having every freaking journeyman reciever suddenly turn into jerry rice when it counts then go back to sucking when they join another team, how they always get the bounces and calls and tv is like "oh the super bowl expierence MADE that happen they didn't get lucky they made that bounce happen", and i just hate everything about them. oddly enough, I got no problem with buffalo. Probably just feel bad for the 4 time losers. Patriots are our biggest rivals, currently. I certainly loathe them more than any team in the league.
In order for something to be considered a rivalry, both teams must really compete. The Dolphins are a joke right now. The Patriots recently are our biggest rivalry. Especially when you add the BB and Mangini thing together. I cant stand them. One of my friends is a Dolphin fan, all season just depression for him. Busting him up all year was definitely fun

Rush fans tend to like underdogs, the only thing I hear from a friend is Billy B will retire when he has a ring on every finger, and Tom damn Brady is the best QB ever, damn I wish there was an axe... Enjoy the ride, things change quickly in the no Fun League where parity means ticket sales, Bill B is an exception (or a a**shole) depends on the perspective. I just try to enjoy the moments of glory no matter how few or far between, like most Rush releases, I always hope Al found his balls and Ged is cool (of course I always think he is) but alas, we await, a new year, will this be the one?
