I used to hate Manning to no end because he didn't come out. However, I sort of like him now just because I simply hate Tom Brady. The media's infatuation over an overrated QB and underappreciation of a guy who is much better and truly is one of the best to ever play the game is sickening to me, and it has made me almost root for him now. I just want him to win so that the media can stop fawning over Brady so much and start paying attention to a guy who's so much better than him.

It seems like the Jets are going to the SB to me. I'm just one happy kid.

What BB did walking off the field today was a disgrace. He ran by Manning, didn't shake his hand and didn't even appear to say a word to him. He is just a complete ass. When you have won as much as he has, lose with some class. At least compliment the guy who finally climbed the mountain and beat you.

As for his post-game press conference - I saw it on the NFL Network and it was classic BB. He answered every question with a three of four work monotone response. "They just made more plays than we did" "They are hard to stop." He wouldn't answer the most important question - why with the 34-31 lead did the Pats throw three straight passes? His answer: "There were lots of plays in this game."

I am so happy that he has 9 months to think about how his team blew an 18 point and gave up 455 yards and gave up 32 2nd half points to a team that hadn't found the end zone in almost 2 full games!!! I'm so happy that he has to be the one to answer why, after shredding the Colts defense in the first half with the running game, did he abandon the run in the 2nd half??? BB got knocked off his genius pedestal tonight. Amazing how hard it is to win when everything doesn't go your way, isn't it BB? When fumbles don't fall into your players' hands or balls don't take crazy bounces or penalties don't all go your way etc?

Yeah that was the funny part. I initially thought he was looking for Brady. LOL nope he was looking for Belichik.

I just hope he was not expecting a big sloppy kiss.

Another funny thought, how big a cold fish handshake would he have given EM had they lost that playoff game?.....................

Why do we care about how classless this prick is? We should all be rejoicing at the fact they won't be going to the SB this year and that this is the beginning of their dynasty crumbling...

The Bears winning with Grossman will be like the Giants winning with Hostetler or the Ravens winning with Dilfer.

We hate the Patriots because their coach is a jerk, their quarterback is a pretty boy, their fans are assinine, and their "dynasty" is a house of cards built on the failure of other teams, as opposed to their own dominance.

Brady is a "clutch" QB when all he has to do is drive it into field goal range against a prevent D. But you see what happens when that's not good enough.

You can still hear the glorious sounds of Tom Brady choking.

Amazing game, thank you Peyton Manning!

Did you all see the way Bellichick congratulated Dungy with a long hug and a good luck?

I did not see anyone mention that when calling NE classless.

The Pats players were actually very classey after the game, hugging Manning, wishing him well. Bruschi, Brady, Troy Brown? C'mon, those guys are class acts.

the Solmon Wilcots interview is hilarious. he didn't even know how to transition into the next question because Belichick gave him nothing.

then when they sent it back to the studio, they all tried stifling laughter over what a prick Belichick is. i think you can hear Boomer say something like, "what was that?"

    hahah. good stuff.

    cheers

I think you have the story wrong. Archie Manning was discussing with Bill Parcells that Peyton was going to declare as a junior, IF Parcells would draft him with the #1 of the 97 draft. Parcells, told him to stay in school. Yes he probably should be under center on the Jets, but that's Parcells fault. We traded down and drafted James Farrior.

This will all make you laugh. I saw this on Wikipedia this morning:

Belichick garnered additional criticism after losing the 2007 AFC Championship game to the Patriots arch-rival Indianapolis Colts. After a thrilling contest in which the Colts rallied from 18 points down to win the game in the final minute, Belichick snubbed Colts Pro-Bowl Quarterback Peyton Manning, refusing to partake in a traditional post-game handshake. Although he was at center field, he turned and walked off to the sideline when Manning was approaching. Tom Brady was also seen to do the same. These two events, among others during the 2006 season, have prompted criticism and debate among fans and sports radio analysts as to the character and sportsmanship of the two. Recent reports have suggested that the two men had to use the bathroom and were not 'snubbing' manning. A handshake is reported to have taken place later on, outside a porta potty.

Sorry, but Pats fans love him. Why? Because he hates losing with every fiber of his being , and I wouldn't want it any other way. Do any of you doubt that BB is at Gillette this morning watching game film? Each and every one of you would throw Mangini to the curb if you had a chance to get Belichick.

alright the "DUDE" comment was a little unnecessary but all I'm saying is that I disagree with you if that's ok. I don't think being classy is overrated..classness and sportsmanship should be a part of the game and I applaud the people that take this seriously. I dont really like Peyton Manning or the Colts, but everytime they lost to the Pats, both Manning and Dungy went on camera and said what a great player/coach Brady and Bele are. And Im not saying this as a Jets fan who hates the Pats, but a sports fan who hates when a guy like Peyton Manning gets disrespected by a coach that he has praised his whole career. Things like that in sports make me sick and send the wrong message.

I know for sure I wouldn't, and I bet the majority wouldn't either.....we don't have Tom Brady on the jets so what good is BB as opposed to Mangini?
