Blowing a 7-1 lead in the 7th in inexcusable. Butto is ass, Stanek is garbage, Edwin Diaz is mostly trash. The Mets have got major work to do in the bullpen if they wish to actually go somewhere this year. As it is currently constructed, they'll be a wild card team at best. And how is a ball hitting the ground NOT REVIEWABLE? What an absolute joke the league has become. They just allow a fake triple play to happen and nobody can do anything? REALLY? So if that happens in the world series, they just sit there and do nothing? Manfred sucks.

It's just infuriating watching this team have the same exact issues as previous years. They battle for 7 innings and then completely collapse. Soto or not, you gotta have a bullpen. Hopefully Sterns is out there looking for trades, because the Mets need major help there.
Of course, Soto shows up last game, but nobody else does. Is this going to be like how our hitting didn't exist every time Jacob Degrom pitched?
