I hope they rethink that idea. Women's bathrooms are brutal so I've been told. Most women "hover" instead of sit because aim isn't perfect. Have you seen the lines at the women's public bathrooms? Would put the old Shea Stadium lines to shame.
You don't have to be trans to use a gender neutral bathroom, aren't many of them the ones that used to be labeled as family bathrooms or handicapped? Just go in, and drop the kids off at the pool.
It depends on what you’re talking about. At airports, yeah. In NYC it’s open season. We do work on some college campuses and there are no men or women’s bathrooms in some of the places, it’s just straight gender neutral bathrooms. It’s strange.
Yeah that would be tough, especially with younger kids. I remember growing up in NYC, we only had to worry about the junkies in the bathrooms, well, and the pervs, and hoodlums.
Forty years ago I started college at a university that had just become coeducational a couple of years prior. The bathrooms and showers in the dorm I lived in were all unisex. It wasn't the end of the world, believe it or not.
Whether it’s the end of the world or not, it’s thoroughly unnecessary. There’s no reason why having men and women’s bathrooms be separate should be upende and changed for the inclusivity of minuscule percentage of the population that wants it changed.
Honestly, I don't hate the idea. But here is my problem. When I travel for business I use United Lounge. And guess what, there are 6 bathrooms and all of those are Gender neutral. But why not have 1 dedicated men's and 1 dedicaten woman's bathroom and leave the rest as Gender Neutral. Forcing one way or the other way is not the solution. I ended up not peeing my pants but I was about to die. Give me my old urinal in men's bathroom and don't make me suffer like this.
I don’t get it. Were you not able to use the gender neutral restroom? What, were you afraid some girl is gonna see your peepee?
There used to be a commonly heard expression that "it's nothing to make a federal case out of." I wonder why we never hear that any longer, given so many good opportunities?
So were these 6 separate bathrooms that were all gender neutral? Or 6 stalls in one bathroom? If it was 6 separate bathrooms, and the wait was longer because both men and women were all waiting on those 6 bathrooms, I think maybe this was an issue of just not having enough bathrooms, not a gender neutral issue.
6 separate bathrooms and men/women waiting on the line. Stupidity is this. Each bathroom was so big, it didn't deserve to have only 1 person use it at a time. Combine 2 of those single bathrooms and make it a urinal bathroom. Leave 4 as gender neutral. The line would be shorter and waiting times would be less.
I wouldn't sit if I was a woman either. Those things are filthy. God allowed us to pee standing. Biggest gift from God really.
