Former NY Jets diva up to old bag of tricks on new team

The Bucs are suckers. They didn't learn from the Jets' experience with Haason.

At least he's not the Jets problem and we can laugh about it.

That’s what I’m liking,so far, about the current Jets staff. More integrity, a responsibility which is filtering down to the players.

Of course as a Jets fan, there’s always Woody. Hopefully he goes to the UK. Sorry in advance to our UK fans.

Aaron Rodgers is back to his old unpredictable self again with the Steelers. I just don't understand why the Steelers would allow themselves to be jerked around like this. Tomlin's seat must be pretty warm for him to let himself be dogwalked by Rodgers. I wonder if when people see trends, they only accept what they want to see and not what's really there.

even steelers legend Terry Bradshaw has had enough. Calling their wait for Rodgers "a joke"

but I will say whats the alternative? Mason Rudolph? You can't roll with him as QB1

Meh. They call them voluntary for a reason. For all the good reasons to dislike the guy, this one is pretty low on the list.

Why not? Rudolph isn't Rodgers but the Steelers aren't in the VLT conversation either. Maybe one step back might lead to two steps forward. Again, it's Tomlin's seat temp and the expectation of the team this year that's driving this theater.

I remember something about the cut date for Rodgers and June 1st. It was important for the Jets to cut him either before or after June 1st. Could that be the reason he hasn't signed yet?

Possibly. But why be coy about everything? Drama for the sake of drama.

Rodgers might be a douche but it’s hard to feel bad for the Steelers. He played chicken with the Packers and us, why wouldn’t he do the same and miss all the offseason bullshit he doesn’t want to do?

The Steelers had two QB’s on their roster with net positive winning records last year that they let walk for reasonable money. Darnold was available in free agency, Geno was available via trade, and to a lesser extent Daniel Jones and Jameis were available as much better safety net options than what they have on the squad.

They created this situation for themselves.

As far as Reddick is concerned - the Buccaneers didn’t give up valuable draft capital for him while dismantling one of the leagues best defensive lines with the thought he was gonna supercharge it. If he gets a sack and a half he did better for them than he did for us.

nah it shouldn't be a factor. You can cut someone as soon as the league year starts and designate them "post june 1st", which is what the Jets did. Rodgers has been able to sign with anyone since the Jets cut him with that designation

what old tricks? not doing voluntary workouts? the jets fo thought they were cute last year and acted like complete douchebags. im glad it happened and they eventually got their walking papers. the gm was a complete douche and a bit of a dipshit.

im sure he will be fine with tampa or wherever he is.

rodgers will do what rodgers does. make drama and annoyance everywhere he goes.
