Wild Justin Fields stat is great for Garrett Wilson, bad for Jets It seems to me this article leaves out the fact that the Jets are poised to throw many passes to tight ends and running backs.
Article already looks dumb when Nania begins with a premise then conjures up a never before used stat to support it.
I agree. It doesnt make any sense on multiple levels. He takes Fields' stats throwing to a no.1 receiver and compares it to other QBs total stats... ie passer rating as a whole. Doesn't it make more sense to compare it to how other QBs do, also throwing to their no.1 receiver? Wouldn't their passer rating be better as well? We never get that but its reasonable that every QB completes more passes to their better receivers.. and less to their worse.
Absolutely. Quarterbacks throw more to their number one receiver - if they didn't, the guy wouldn't be the number one receiver. The boys over at JetX are trying way too hard to be relevant; they are failing.
Summary: Every NFL game ever played, the D takes away they #1 threat, be it WR or RB or TE, and forces the other team into doing what they aren't great at.
Nania and Friends are struggling hard this offseason. He's always been annoying but the crap he's trying to conjure up this summer is unreadable.
Hey guys I got a glimpse of Nabias next article, pre-release - “teams that score more points than their opponents are more likely to win. What that means for the Jets”
