Looking at the teams, most were playoff teams or should have been. We better come to play against these guy's. 2007 Home: Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington, Kansas City Away: Baltimore, Cincinnati, Dallas, NY Giants, Tennessee
I can see 10-6 again...the schedule is a bit tougher but we should get better...I figure will win 4 of our conf games and we beat Cleveland, Pitt, Wash, KC, Giants and Tenn.
Yeah there is no point trying to figure out who we can beat and who we cant. We can beat any of these teams and any of these teams can get better and beat us. I just wanna destroy the Chiefs at home and Giants.
its definitely a hard schedule but we should be on par with most of these teams next year. -Ravens great d but if we step up ours i dont see their mediocre offense posing any threat. -Bengals are they a NFL team or the real life version of "The Longest Yard?" -Dallas theyve got alot of coaching vacancies to fill, TO will be back a step slower. and no more parcells to keep the pony show running. -NY Giants Were done being the little brother in NY. too bad we cant say the same for Eli.' -Tennessee Practically a different version of us, a young team who can show up and play anyone. no witty banter for this one. i could go on an on, but this schedule only seems hard in contrast to the one we just had. if mangini is legit he'll get us at least 9 wins with this schedule.
sure it looks it tough on paper then once the season starts we could all be saying we got lucky with an easy schedule
I think we'll do fine. We have the advantage in the coaching department and a lot of young guys who played big rolls this year will have another year under their bellt to get better. Not to mention we will have better personel to fit out defense. Aslo I don't think the NFC east will be a very good division next year. Philly will be tough but other than that the Giants are a mess and lose their best player, Dallas is not that good and has no coach, and Washington has the big names but not the game to follow it up. And Cleveland, KC and pittsburgh will be tough because all games are but they are not exactly powerhouses.
Every year is different in the NFL so who knows, but I like what you said here Coach. The home games don't scare me all that much either. Cleveland is beatable, Pitt will have a new coach and system so who knows, McNabb will be coming off of injury hopefully we get them early, the Skins are in disarray, and the Chiefs will probably be starting over with a new O-line, new QB, and we know about the coach. As I mentioned you never can tell year to year, but this doesn't look as bad as I originally thought...
we will beat buffalo, miami(2), New England, Kansas City, Tennessee, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Washington, Dallas, and the Giants we will lose to buffalo, new england, Philly, Cincinati, Baltimore 11-5 and in a close battle for the afc east title, maybe even we will go deper in the playoffs
Almost agree. I think we lose to Tennessee, and Beat Philly and either Cincy or Baltimore. Jets finish 12-4.
We MUST, MUST, MUST beat Elegant Eli and the Giant Joke! Four YEARS of bragging rights are at stake! I can't wait to see the coaching matchup of Coughlin v. Mangini. What is that saying about battles being won before they are fought...hehehe.
Exactly, and consistency is one of the main qualities Mangini has been instilling into this team 12-4 in '07
Do you guys know exactly when free agency starts? Will be interesting to see if we're active early. As stated above, it won't get any easier next year from a schedule standpoint..
Its a hard schedule, but I don't see us getting blown out at all next year. We should be in the game from start to finish.
this schedule actually looks easier now than it did just a few weeks ago/days ago. The Cowboys without Parcells are a lot weaker, and are a ticking timebomb with the ability to collapse at any time. IMO, The Steelers hired the wrong guy, definetely for the short term anyway. I think they will have lots of growing pains with Tomlin and will be a little disappointing next year. With that being said, its way to early to tell who is going to be good or not, and anything can happen from week to week anyway, so yeah schedule is overrated.
Its really hard to say who will be good and who wont. Baltimore was 4-12 last year and 13-3 this year, but... We also need to wait for free agency and the draft. If we make some moves (i.e. Turner and Samuel) we get alot better. I think at home the hard games are NE, and philly. They played very good towards the end of the year. On the road the dallas game doesnt look as tough because tuna is not coaching anymore. Romo's play wasnt that good the second half of the year. The giants will be even weaker next year with tiki. Plus thats not a real road game. How good will McNair be next year? Will the titans be as good as the finished the year? We do have a great schedule though. Besides the division games, I cant wait for the Giants, Chiefs, Cowboys and Browns (revenge) games
