Allen will be RB1 before the end of the year. Book it. At the very least he’ll be the Montgomery to Hall’s Gibbs (comparing the roles not the players). He’s got every single trait you want and his pass blocking will only get better. Very excited about him with Fields in this offense. Not to mention, Hall won’t be here beyond this season.
We will see, I think Breece Hall will have something to say about this arrangement before its said and done
I hope he does but I also hope he realizes how much damage two very good running backs can do especially with one of the best running quarterbacks we’ve ever seen. Even split between the two of those guys means we have the right people on the coaching staff.

Build a HUGE O line and road grate the snot out of these “modern” D’s that are built to stop the pass. 4 yards and a cloud of dust! Ah, the future of the NFL.
Reading these camp reports, I feel like I’m reliving the Darnold and Wilson experiences all over again. One day you think the quarterback has it figured out, the next day he can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Granted today was run heavy but I don’t think he completed a single pass in team periods. It’s the same old song and dance from the last four years with him. Holding onto the ball taking sacks and delivering the ball late because he’s slow on his reads. Thank God he can run.
