Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, I am thankful to atleast have a place to vent and converse about our team. As much as some of us disagree I respect your opinions and appreciate the banter. The lone bright spot of being a Jets fan is this site, I give thanks to all who contribute.

Happy Thanksgiving fellas. There isn’t another group of guys on the internet I’d rather argue about the Jets with.

Can’t move today which means Thanksgiving was awesome. Hope you’re all equally as bloated and exhausted.

I did so much cooking yesterday that I was in a coma in front of the fire by 7:30 pm. No pie, no chestnuts, nothing. I woke up at 9:30 pm, let our dog out on the lawn to pee with my eyes closed, shambled to bed, and slept all night. I had apple pie with coffee for breakfast this morning. Hope you are all still full!

Today we're off to one of my sister in laws to do it all over again, and tomorrow we're going to dear friends of ours that are local to do it a third time. It's who we used to tailgate with at The old Dump for years. Fck you, Woody Johnson! Oh, wait, I forgot myself. BIHW (Burn in Hell Woody)!

P.S.: I hope this was sufficiently boring as fck.

BIHW was before your time. That avatar looks like one of the ants in that old Sci-fi movie from the 50s 'Them!' I've gotta be honest here. I never quite understood the whole radioactive giant ant wearing a Jets helmet as Chad Pennington throws a football in Hell thing.

Anyway, championjets69 said Burn In Hell Woody was his son (for trivia's sake). Unfortunately, I think that champ is no longer with us. I miss Old Man Grumpus (no sarcasm). Well, it's been 58 years since Woody Johnson brought the VLT to the NYJs. Whatever you want to say about champ, he wasn't wrong about that part of the equation.

I used to argue with champ that it was championjets68, not championjets69, because the '68 team won the SB. There was no arguing that one. He would only say it's 57 years since Woody Johnson brought the VLT to the NYJs. Sigh. o_O

Yep. I think we lost champ during Covid. His memory is still with us. Thanks for the back story jeto

My guess is that you watched a 24 hour true crime marathon of 'Southern Fried Homicide', (seeing as you're not up north anymore). I love that show, btw. It's so trashy. That's why I love it! I love them all. The old 'Forensic Files' (a ton of poisonings), 'Fear Thy Neighbor' (last one I saw, somebody got taken out over kids playing a game of pickup basketball in the driveway), 'Evil Lives Here', 'Evil Women', 'Buried in the Backyard', 'A Body in the Basement', 'Mother, May I Murder?', 'American Monster', '911: Did the Killer Call?' That's my Christmas Eve line up, by the way.

Hah, I’ve never seen that one. I’ll have to check it out. Can only imagine , the crime down here is weird. The early fear thy neighbor were very cool. Always loved the old forensic files….. used to actually put them on to go to sleep due to monotone voice, and then wondered why I had weird dreams, so that had to stop. I now look for anti freeze containers under the sink anytime I think my wife is mad at me
