Okay Brady Cook! Great drive all around though. Too much to ask for the defense to play some complimentary football?
I can only see the gamecast on ESPN, how were Cook’s throws? Accuracy? Thx Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He absolutely shouldn't be. And you have to hand it to the Johnsons. Two of the last three coaches they've hired have been coaches that can rival Kotite for being the worst coach in franchise history. And the one that came between them wasn't much better.
Kid was on target. Throwing lasers but it looks like the WR's are getting used to the velocity. Nothing crazy yet. Cook looking like he belongs on the field.
Cook looking good. How did this guy go undrafted? He looks the part of NFL quarterback. Tall, his passes look good. My goodness this new Jets GM finally they may have hit a grand slam with him.
Looking good so far. Might’ve thrown the ball a bit too hard on that TD, but otherwise his touch has improved since last week.
Now we need some answers on defense. Jags got us twice already back-to-back drives. Too easy it shouldn't be that easy.
Cook reads the field really well and releases the ball quick, Cook is better than any Qb the Jets drafted since Pennington. Get Garrett Wilson back because right now he is just throwing to scrubs, see if he is Nfl Caliber and we may not need to draft a Qb. He makes quick decisions which the Jets Qbs in the past seem incapable of doing.
Based on what I've seen so far and his college resume Brady Cook might not be "the answer" but I feel like he's more than worth keeping around longer term as a backup/temp starter while the next drafted phenom actually gets ready.
