As I just mentioned elsewhere - I will watching Bucs vs Panthers (hoping for the Panthers to win as they have sucked for a long time) and the Steelers vs Ravens (and hoping the losing HC becomes the Jets next HC)

To be honest, losing HC will become the next Giants HC. Watch and see. :)

Bucs v Panthers wasn't a great game - wanted the Panthers to win but they can still make the postseason

Rooting for Seahawks due to Sam but I feel like 49ers will steal this game.

Releasing Sam was one of the biggest mistakes contributing to no playoffs in 15 years. He didn't get a chance here. Joe basically set him up to fail.

Sam with a pretty drive to put a spike through Salehs defense.

Biggest mistake since taking Lam Jones over Anthony Munoz.

really happy to see darnold continuing to look like a solid qb and grow year over year.

was also good to see saleh out there looking like his old self. getting away from this horror show of a franchise is the best thing that could ever happen to anyone

If any of you think for a second that Sam would have succeeded in New York has not been following this team for the last 50 years

    Fields, Wilson or Trade Down?

Even in another poll with 5 choices including a trade for Watson and another choice of just "Other" Darnold still got over 37%

During the postgame handshakes when Darnold & Coach Saleh the ex-Jets passed each other I couldn't help think if Darnold had played like that here if he had been here while we had Coach Saleh's defense.

    *sigh*

Even when the Jets get it right for them it goes wrong.

Darnold looks even better than he did last year wow what a change. He was throwing lazers out there, had a steely look in his eyes. No fear, he knows what he's doing out there now. What a get for the Seahawks a elite, young in his prime QB in free agency that is unheard of. It's a bad look for the Vikings how did they allow him to walk away? Not get anything for him?

As for the other game, I think the Bucs would be the more dangerous team in the playoffs. Carolina wouldn't go very far I think. One and done. Carolina didn't look impressive at all yesterday.

So glad for Darnold he always seemed like such a good guy - the Jets just never get it right (though I fully accept if he had stayed here then he would never have developed - we have got to get a coach like Shanahan)
