The Jets are so far away from even being a competitive team, Woody isn't doing shit, he doesn't have to, this team is the laughing stock of all sports combined, and also one of the top earning teams in the NFL.

As much as people like to throw it back in our faces when debating about competing "poor" teams when it comes to the draft, players and what not, even the damn Browns AND Raiders have been in the playoffs, MULTIPLE times, in the years since the Jets last took a whiff of a Wild Card. Even the damn Cardinals have been in the PO's THREE times in the last 15 years. JSMH...

It’s unbelievable to me that a successful coach like Harbaugh gets fired, that there seemingly are a bunch of people talking about Matt LeFleur and if the Packers should extend him or move on from him….and we are stuck with trash like AG. Trash like repeatedly hiring rookie DCs.

    Unbelievable.

I can not hate Woody enough.

No shit, right!?! Throw Tomlin on to that pile. There's not a Jet's fan that wouldn't trade his/her left arm for one FOURTH of the success had by that man! All I hear are whiney, bitchy spoiled ass Squeeler fans boo hoo'ing about how "bad" they have it. They need to shut their mouths is what I'm sayin!

I had to do a double-take AND check that.

You see...THAT is where THIS franchise sits. We're not just picking up scraps from other teams, but HAS BEEN and/or NEVER WAS scraps. Jesus...

Way worse, wait till the FAs like Anzalone that Glenn has history with at a position of dire need don't come here because Glenn is on the hot seat. Or how the guys like Jim Leonard and Al Harris avoid this team for DC like the plague which is how we end up with Wink or some other has been that needs a shot.

You can’t stand Woody, but you’re there at games …all of you or at least most of you I’m guessing

    Why?

1 game in almost 10 years for me, won't go to another one till they improve. I do get the people that uphold the tradition and go to see friends and family but not sure how much even that can hold up to this latest product.

There is no name like that out there that I can see.

Jim Harbaugh is that guy the modern day Parcells the fixer he went to the Chargers. I don't see a sure thing to fix this train wreck quickly kind of guy out there.

At this point I'm at anyone but Coach A.G. would at least give me some hope things can change.

The thing about believing Coach A.G. can turn it around I hope he does (I have no choice) is one has to suspend their disbelief.

Certainly there is a cloud hanging over the organization. With this haul of picks we should be excited and hopeful and that's not the case.

Because I love football and the Jets are my team.

Still at the end of this past season they had beaten the excitement of going to the games out of me.

Parcells was the best I’ve ever seen at the cleanup…he took over poor teams and made them winners everywhere he went…he did it with the Giants, the Patriots, us, and then the Cowboys. Very different than a guy like, say, Phil Jackson in the NBA…also a great coach, but he won with Michael and then went and won with Kobe…not like he went to the Clippers and made them winners. Different sport obviously but still a good example of a different kind of coach. Parcells didn’t do that…he went to downtrodden teams and made them respectable.

I don’t really see another guy like that, but I do think this cycle has some very interesting candidates out there, and that’s a big part of why I’m so pissed off at Woody for sticking with AG this year or all years…everything is lined up to really make an impactful change…we have picks, we have cap room, and we have good candidates.

I would be more than happy with ANY of the following guys:

    McCarthy, Stefanski, Kubiak, Harbaugh, Kingsbury

That’s 4 guys with HC experience, and one highly thought-of OC

I’d take any of them…and granted a guy like Harbaugh will likely have better options, and McCarthy may very well tell Woody to fuck right off after being spurned before, but you never know…5 first round picks and over $60M of cap space is pretty enticing I would think

But again, I’d take ANY of those dudes over AG after what I saw this year.

Would RUN to phone to make that happen

Yes…you have to suspend your disbelief because AG showed absolutely NOTHING to give us any hope. We were inept on both sides of the ball…players all regressed, etc.

Compare that to someone like Kellen Moore in NO. No one was saying they had real talent there, but they showed something…they played hard and won a few games and at least looked like they may have something to build on. We had nothing of the sort.

Just pathetic. And even more so because Woody has literally hired the same coach 6 times already…

Watching Coach Saleh's defense play I miss him.

I miss having that here. That guy is a defensive genius we saw that here it didn't matter who was in or out of the lineup he'd make it work. I miss his exuberance on the sidelines his swag.

The Jets had a strong identity with him a calling card.

    *sigh* now look at 'em.

This is what kills me, we have all these picks and all this cap and I have absolutely no faith whatsoever in this HC. I don't think he can bring in quality assistants in his position nor quality FA

You're right but it ain't happening. We're stuck with him.

I'm kinda dreading what's to come. I feel they're going to do something SOJ to try to get a veteran QB in here trade #16 to the Chargers for Herbert or two #1s to SF for Purdy, or #16 to the Eagles for Hurts they're going to do something.

Every other team in the league will probably make the playoffs another 2-3 times before the Jets even get back to even thinking figuring out how to sneak into the playoffs as an 8-9 #7 seed.
