What teams would be willing to trade up for 2 or 16?
I'm not sure if it's the right move but I'd like to know the possibilities we have.

It's a weak draft with only a handful of players who really look like they could be elite. I would think that plenty of teams would want to jump the line for basically any player not named Mendoza.

If the Jets really want Reese that badly then it only makes sense to trade down. I don't feel like it makes too much sense to use the 2nd overall pick on a guy with 7 career sacks and no pass rush moves.

I can't really agree here. I don't think defense in 2026 is all that defined. What he's saying adds up with a lot of philosophies. A ton of boards will have Reese as the BPA at 2, and he is the perfect fit for a defense that's trying to be a hybrid, having people line up in different spots, generating pressure from different positions. I don't think they're struggling with who they want at all.

For # 2 it has to be for a team that loves Reese like the Bengals or Chiefs . Or a team that loves Love like Washington or Titans.

At 16 it’s obviously a tougher scenario. The only few that come to mind is Maybe if one of the OT falls or if someone has a first round grade on Faulk or Simpson.

Any team trading up to 2 is probably doing it to take Reese. I don't think we can pretend a trade down and Reese is an available option.

Let them. We can get a king's ransom and also a different player that's more of a sure thing. I know you're sold on him but he doesn't add up for me.

I just don’t think the rest of the league lines up with this thought. Not saying that’s right or wrong I’m saying I wouldn’t expect it to happen.

Well if the Jets do end up going elsewhere early in the draft, I'll be interested to see how that proves out

This is how I get through it, the Mougey tells Glenn to sit down and shut his mouth while he does his job.

Well, the top two players in the eyes of most experts are Love a RB and Downs the Safety. Neither will be picked at two. It will be Reese for best fit and future potential growth.
