Cotch's playing time and contract talks were long overdue. Boobway and Herm refused to bench Chrebet in his old age and exposed him to further concussions even when he was over the hill.
Good news. He should be the first person we sign. This guy is a hard worker with good size, great toughness, good attitude, good speed and nonstop effort (The Patriots in Week 2). We HAVE TO make sure we sign him long term.
No literally. He has come to my house before to beat me. Like the time I said Laveranues Coles was a poor man's Curtis Conway.
LOL glad to see your sarcasm meter did not go down with the post count! Nice Now just make a trade Vilma now thread..............nevermind. Edit: I did not read past your post and see Mister Moss's post..........sorry!
Don't be surprised at how much this is going to cost and if it gets ugly. Right now with our current WR corp he is worth a fortune to us and he knows it.
I laughed loudly when i read your previous post. Some people are either too stupid to realize a joke or have found themselves flooding with sand in their vaginas.
Chrebet was nowhere near as good as Cotchery his rookie season. He was a huge over-achiever but it was pretty clear that his upside was limited by his lack of height and speed (quickness he had, speed he did not.) Cotchery, like Toon, was a threat to go all the way after the catch on every play last year. That's something that neither Chrebet nor Keyshawn nor Coles had in their first year as a starter.
Cotchery and Toon shouldn't be mentioned together. Toon is a legendary talent, people who had an opportunity to watch him play should consider themselves lucky.
Hey I like Cotch, don't get me wrong, but don't mess with Toon. Cotch has a long way to go before he reaches Toon status.
I mentioned Cotchery's first season as a starter and Toon's. That's where I rank them after their first seasons. We'll see how they stand up in 5 years or so. Hopefully with Cotchery on the Jets and not someplace stupid like Arizona or St Louis.
