Well marshall faulk was just on and had nothing but good things to say....he started off by saying they were not a one year wonder & mangini will have them competeing for a playoff spot again. He also said that Chad is a Super Bowl QB, meaning that he is capable of taking & leading them to the next level. Then Marshall said they needed to get a pass rushing LB if they stay in the 34 defence, a BIG TARGET for Chad either a WR or TE, & safety help to help our corners (that I don't agree with) Last thing he mentioned was Thomas Jones was a great pick up. 3 needs they said was a Pass Rusher, especially when we play the 3-4, we need a pass-rusher on the outside who will make the QB uneasy and uncomfortable in the pocket. Next was a Big-target WR, so he can stretch the field and because Chad loves those loopy type of throws, we need someone who can make big, long plays and finally a safety, with all these blitzing if we do get a pass-rusher, we need someone who can solidify the backfield along side with Rhodes
Vilma's on they showed him picking the rams & marshall chasing him (pretty funny) 1st question is about him being traded. he said he has no idea. 2nd question is about him in the 34 defence. he said this is his 2nd year and things came on strong in the 2nd half. he said it will only be better. 3rd question was on mangini, he pretty much had good things to say how he's always thinking. 4th was on next season on not having an easy schedule. he said said he's ready for what's in front of him...i hope that helps
Trading Vilma would make me upset. Vilma is so smart and talented. He will adjust in the 3-4. Get him a DT! I love his interviews.
