I find that most of the complaining is being done by new members. Not only do they complain constantly, they start ridiculuos threads. The complaining was dying down when the new regime took over, there was a sense of reserved optimism on the board. Then there was this influx of new members and the negativity went through the roof. Not saying you are included in this. So I have retreated back to the sanity of the bullshit forum.

Here are some of the players they went out and either traded for or signed. Some were stop gaps some were key players. The biggest move they made was not relying on their franchise QB when he got hurt. Moving on was the key to them winning just like us moving on from Chad will be a key to our winning.

Andruzi, Vrabel, Dillon, Smith, Poole, Fauria, Phifer, Patten, Izzo, Cox, Hamilton, T-Buckley, Green, Lyle,Baxter, Plesant, Harrison.

The idea that the Pats won by not aquiring talent other than through the draft is foolish and incorrect. They have been the most talented team, they moved on from an injured QB and they have made both stop gap and hard signing of great FA players and traded for great players. It is a myth that they have done it by being cheap. They have drafted well and they have targeted players very well. They haven't been stupid but they have been active.

True, but they built the core of their team through the draft and then added players around it. Many of these players were not exactly big names when the Pats signed them. A few were, like Dillon, but many were not considered the best player available at their position (during that particular FA period). And the Pats didn't really break the bank on any, like a Synder. What the Pats did was to find a player that fitted what they were looking for. If he was a top tier player or not, what mattered was if he fit into their scheme.

I would rather they forget about Abe all together. He isn't worth (IMHO), a first round pick and the long term deal to sign him. If he were, then why haven't the Jets done so???? Injuries??? Attitude????

Good pickup of Sir Olen Hoffen by the way..he is worshiped here in Germany for his great dumpling making techniques.

I hope you are aware just like the Lions & Cards have been failures in the NFL just like us & the last time we won a CHAMPIONSHIP was 01/12/69 which is some 37 years & a few days ago

95% of those players were little regarded FAs that came cheap. You made my point, thank you.
