NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports the Giants and Broncos are in trade talks involving middle linebacker Al Wilson. The Eagles, Lions, and Redskins (before they signed London Fletcher) have also reportedly been involved in talks regarding Wilson. We suspect Wilson would stay in the middle and New York would move Antonio Pierce over to weak-side linebacker if the sides can strike a deal. Related: Antonio Pierce, Lions, Giants, Eagles I'm amazed, Wilson is in the prime of his career and a pretty damn good linebacker...
Pierce and Wilson in one LB corps would be a blast to watch, but I'd rather the Giants keep their picks. There's no quick fix for this sorry buncha suckers right now. I'd rather they build right now instead of stacking.
Is there anyone more perfect for the jets to get this offseason? If we could team wilson with vilma, and move barton either outside or to another team for some picks, how awesome would that be. I know people will say that both those ILBs are better in a 4-3, but i dont see how teaming them together in the middle can possibly be bad. I'm sure every fan wants every good player on the market to their team and I know there is no jets speculation on this one, but just saying it would be interesting
I still want to see Schlegal team up with Vilma there. I don't know why hes getting slaughtered on here.
this guy has hit a wall and his play fell way off last season...prime is not the word but if healthy and if a new team could light a fire i think he would be a solid acquisition especially for a middle round pick not in a 3-4 though
