    Wed, 15 Mar 2006 22:41:34 -0800

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been granted permission by the Washington Redskins to visit with Redskins QB Patrick Ramsey. The Buccaneers are looking to replace QB Brian Griese and are considering Ramsey if the trade price is right. The Redskins are asking for a fourth-round pick.

Anything more than a 7th and i don't want him. Take'em Bucs. He's all yours if you are willing to pay.

Redskins | Gibbs says team has no timetable to trade Ramsey
    Wed, 15 Mar 2006 21:52:07 -0800

Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports Washington Redskins head coach Joe Gibbs said Wednesday, March 15, that the team continues to work at trading QB Patrick Ramsey, but added that there is no set timeframe for completing a deal for the fourth-year quarterback. "We're working real hard at it," Gibbs told reporters at a press conference. "We're trying to do what's best for Patrick and what's best for the Redskins."

All you guys acting all cavalier about not wanting to give anything more than a 6 or 7th for Ramsey might be wishing he was here come Sept. I think there is a very good chance Ramsey goes somewhere else. Somewhere like Cincy, a team that would potentially be a great fit. Ramsey has 1yr left on his contract and is not ready to sign a long term deal with a team like the Jets that wants to bring in a guy like Leinart.
