They are gonna make Jets' fans very happy tommorrow. I have utmost confidence in Tangini. They have from the start addressed Jets' needs & expect more of the same tommorrow with there wheeling & dealing.

Olsen and maybe Jarvis Moss -those are the only picks that would really make me cry.

    I'd hate a WR, too.

I guess what I'm saying is: only Justin Blalock or Ant Spencer.

I trust in Tangini also, think trading down for right price is the right move if they can find a taker...maybe New Orleans or Chicago in the late 1st or Oakland in the early 2nd. Especialy if they can get the guy they're targeting and add a 3rd or 4th.

If the Jets cannot get a blue chip prospect then they should trade down and pick up more 3-4 round picks. There is a lot of talent in the middle of this draft.

i'd like to see them package our 25 and jmac into a deal for a high second rounder and a third or forth rounder, especially if the best player available at 25 is houston!

Why would you all be pissed if we get Olsen at 25? What's the big deal he's a great TE. Granted we have other needs at CB and the dline but is there anyone else at 25 worth taking there?

I would be MUCH less pissed if they took Jarvis than if they took Vanilla Ice I mean Olsen.

not to worry, it's mostly people locked into drafting for need, and not taking into account BPA and Value at the time you draft. And trading out of the first round is just assinine IMO. Trade out for what? a 3rd rounder and lesser talent. Trading down in the first round to gain a pick is one thing... trading out of the first round and then not having a first rounder is rediculous. I'd rather be taking players higher in the talent pool.

the above is a quote from Kurt our fearless moderator that best sums it up...

Putting this guys obvious talent down is just absurd.

I have faith in this management team to do what is best for this organization. If that means selecting Olsen, then I am gonna go out on a limb and say that they know slightly more about what is best for this team than the posters here. Trade up, trade down, select whomever....in Tangini I trust!

Sorry to change the subject, but I can't start my own thread...I'm busy from 1-2 tomorrow, and I was just wondering if anyone had any guess as to which picks I'd be missing. Thanks.

With some people projecting guys like Moss, Grubs, and Blalock falling to round 2, I would be fine with trading down a little so long as we received another pick as compensation.
