If we can add Thomas to stop the run and Naanee to our WR tandum this would be a great draft. Small one but great.

The two trade ups were dead even in value but we received players at steal positions. So advantage Jets!

Darrelle Revis should have been drafted in the top twelve and we picked him at #14, while David Harris should have been an easy top 40 pick and we got him at #47.

Now if we get that BIG DT Thomas who we need to fill the middle and add at least some help to our offensive side of the ball with Naanee who is better than advertised I would be very happy.

I don't want any WR, but if we can't get Soliai, then I would take Thomas at DT in a heartbeat.

I like Joel Filani. He's a tough receiver from Texas Tech. The draft guides say he's destined to be a backup and special teams guy. That would be fine if you draft him in the 6th or 7th round.

I hope Solaili gets forgotten and drops all the way to 6th round falling into our laps. then we can use the 7th on Thomas that would be my dream senario

As long as we get Thomas I really don't care what we do tomorrow. We brought him in and I think we want him.

I do like Naanee's size and speed plus he could be a very good #3 WR, but he would be frostning on top of the cake (Thomas).

Some people had him going in rd 2, no way he falls to rd 6.

this guy thomas is big and that's all. He wont be able to come in and play immediately

    He played community college ball

Just because hes big doesnt make him any good, were better off witho who we have because trust me That man is not the answer.

ok... for the slow people... the chances of us taking Thomas tomorrow are about as good as a tidal wave hitting the eastern seaboard in about 15 minutes... The guy is not a good character pick at all... and with penalites that can be enforced against the team that selects said bad character guys... I'd say we don't see this guy ever donning the green and white

Thats why he is worth getting at 6th or 7th. He has potential. Low risk high reward type of player. If he doesnt perform then its not as bad.

How big is Thomas? He'll be gone long before we pick in the 6th.

From where we are picking tommorrow, unless we do that Leon Washington thing we hit on last year, I'll doubt what we pick makes the team.

You know you've had a boring draft when guys are arguing over who they can predict their team is going to pick in the 6th or 7th round

We traded for a corner, can we still stop the run? Stopping the run first is priority....it forces teams to throw on you, not the other way around. Didn't we just get FA LBs and DE's? We draft next a LB? Am I the only one who doesn't understand todays logic? I guess we will be real busy in UFA trying to get OL help like maybe a G, and DL help like maybe a DT.Last time we traded up we blew it. (Moss,Robertson) Wheres the WR? Yeah we better hit jackpot tommorrow. If this is very much a weak draft like some say it is then we probably got 2 starters on day one again. Thats a good thing.

    Agreed
    And yesterday produced three starters:

    1. the best cb in the draft
    2. a first round talent ILB
    3. Thomas Jones

I'm hoping TE Ben Patrick falls to the 6th, he'd be a nice compliment to Baker. We do have an early 6th rounder.

Antonio Johnson from Mississippi St. is another DT with potential who we could possibly get in the 7th round.
