"Vince Young is the finest athlete I've ever been on the field with." — Michigan head coach Lloyd Carr "When you have to play extra people in the box to stop his run it's going to leave you a bit vulnerable to the pass. I thought he played hard. He kept getting hit and beat up and kept coming back. And his team won." — Ohio State coach Jim Tressel “He had a run in that game where we missed him 13 times. No, really, 13 times. We counted. We had three guys miss him twice.” — OU defensive coordinator Brent Venables on Young as a redshirt freshman “25 of 29? Are you kidding me? That’s hard to do against air. Vince made great throws all day. At this level you see a few guys with capes and S's on their chest and Vince Young is one of them." — Colorado head coach Gary Barnett "There's no question he's the best football player in America. I don't have a vote for the Heisman, but if I did, he'd get it. Nobody does for their team what Vince Young does for his." — Kansas head coach Mark Mangino “Vince has come a long way. It’s not my job to evaluate him, but obviously I watch a lot of tape and just happen to have played that position myself. He plays with poise now. He’s very dangerous. If you watch him during a game he’s very respectful to other players. I have a lot of respect for a guy who does that. He’s not a hot dog; he just goes out there and does his job.” — Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy “Vince Young was extraordinary. He was an extraordinary talent out there tonight. It was obviously the difference in the football game. It was obvious why they were so affected this year. Good players all over the board, but he's off the charts. He's a heck of a football player.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “I'm on the record telling you guys how hard it is to stop the quarterback. He is a difficult quarterback to face, because he's so fast. It's not that he's scrambling. He's a fast guy and he's big. He probably made us miss a dozen tackles tonight and we slipped right off the guy. He threw the ball quite well again. A great 1st half. I don't know what his numbers were the 2nd half. A great 1st half. He took what we gave him. He is a heck of a football player.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “It's extremely frustrating, in particular when you know what the problem is. We tried to get after him, even when we looked like we were going to sack him. If you go back, I'm not sure if we had a shot to turn the ball over, and they knocked the ball away from us. But that was our chance to win the football game right there. We were just looking for one more, we couldn't find it. He was too good.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “It's just the factor that he brings that makes a difference with this team, they are good players all across the board, but he's so unique. He's an X factor, he just takes off running and that's the issue. We weren't able to stop him when we had a chance.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll “He's got to be up there, with all he's done. I don't know, but I know he's a great one. The top that has ever played.” — USC head coach Pete Carroll, on where Vince Young ranks among college quarterbacks
Nice Job this is the best piece of artwork ive seen on the internet in a longtime.Dude you are my hero.
Use the lasso tool to draw around what you want to isolate, like say the pants or the jersey. Then go to "enhance" at the top and "adjust color." There is a button that lets you change the color, as well as change the lightnuess, hue, and contrast. The trick is to get off of the master and scroll down to one of the major colors, like reds or greens. It actually lets you isolate just that color and then change it. So for example I can isolate everything that is green in that picture and change it to orange while all the other colors stay the same.
If Vince Young is there .....Jets' have to pick him. Actually...He's probally worth trading up to draft.:breakdance:
I'm still ambivalent about Young (I am about all of the three QB prospects). But damn, that's some fine work.
why the hell does everyone feel the need to quote the entire first post!?!?!?! its like 6 paragraphs long with a huge picture attached. and then all you type is "how did you make that pic?". as if he wouldnt know wtf picture you were talking about
Borna' Horn like I have said before we al know you are a Texas fan but do you really think we are going to draft Young when we have been targeting Ramsey,Kitna, and Schuab.
I realize that Ramsey,Kitna, and Schuab are all "off the charts" and QBs who can simply take games over, but maybe they will find room for a scrub like Vince. Seriously, though, one argument for Vince is he gives you the least to lose. Unlike the other QBs in the draft, you know the moment you sign him that you have one of the best athletes in the game. You will have a guy who is instant offense whenever he has the ball, and so he will have value no matter who is at QB already. That is the way it happened as Texas. We had a veteran QB in junior Chance Mock who had waited behind Simms and was a reliable player all around. Mock had a solid 1st game as starter and then Vince came in for garbage time in the 4th quarter. What we saw stunned everybody. The guy barely knew the playbook but had a nose for the end zone we had never seen before. He ran through the defense like a sieve, and then as if just to prove he can pass too, he uncorked his first career toss 60 yards on a ball that looked like a punt. We all looked at each other and said there has to be some way to get this guy on the field! He is too good an athlete not to. He didn't play the next game (Texas ended losing its only home game this decade). But little by little Young got more playing time as a "change of pace" from the starter. By midseason he took over the team, and the rest is history. He proved more and more that he knew how to lead, and some of us - myself included - became vociferous defenders of his passing ability. I always thought Vince got a bad rap for his passing simply because he gets labeled as just an athlete. But he demonstrated from the beginning that he has all the tools to be a great passer, which combined with his running makes him a nightmare for coaches (see above quotes). In 2005, with a receiving corps that had experience it lacked the year before, Vince proved he can pass even against some of the best defenses out there. (for comparison, Leinart did not face a Top 30 ranked defense all season and still had a lower pass efficiency than Vince) I think Vince is the best prospect in the draft at any position, Reggie Bush included. If you need convincing, just reread what Pete Carroll said about him. I have thought since his freshman year that if he's available in the draft, and my team is drafting, I would be super-pissed if they pass him up. When Vince was recruited at Texas, one of the raps on Texas was that they had not competed for a national championship in eons. It mattered to Adrian Peterson, who had been a Longhorn fan but opted for OU instead. When Vince saw the Texas trophy case, and that they had last won an undisputed championship in 1969, he said his reaction was, "looks like these guys have not won a championship in a while and could use some help." I never forgot that story as he led Texas to the promised land. Hmmm....hasn't won a championship since '69. Sound like somebody you know?
Enough of the Vince Young propaganda. You like Vince and that is your opinion. I like Matt and that is my opinion. Can we please end the Vince Young for president threads
