it was the playffs, brady stepped back to throw, looked left, threw left to a button hook, and kerry rhodes came diving in for the interception.... he dropped it!!!!! it would of been 7 the other way!!!! Yea i know this really happened this past playoffs but the fact i dreamt about it gave me shivers.. i woke up so upset at the missed oppurtunities we let fly away during that playoff game, like vilma going for the strip instead of the sack.. anybody else have any jets related nightmare before?, this should be entertaining
In 2004 I had two Cardinals related dreams. In one of them I was on the sideline with Bill Bidwill before a game in St. Louis circa 1986. I commented on the lack of fans in Busch Stadium. Bidwill replied, "Don't worry. They'll show up." Later in the dream, the Jets had lured Stump Mitchell out of retirement to compete for a roster spot behind Curtis Martin and LaMont Jordan. Mitchell would have been 45 years old at the time.
Well, I don't really dream about the Jets too often and when I do I really don't remember the details. Except one dream which was a premonition and really was kind of eerie. It was the night before the final exhibition game in 1999. The Jets were playing the Vikings at home. In my dream, a friend of mine called and we wound up going out to hit a few golf balls (I'm not much of a golfer). I came home later that night and put on ESPN to see how the Jets game went. I heard a report that Wayne Chrebet had hurt his knee and it was not considered serious. All of a sudden a crawl came across the bottome of the screen saying the injury was misdiagnosed and Chrebet would be out 4-6 weeks. I woke up glad it was a dream but quickly forgot about it. Sure enough my friend did call me, we did go out and hit golf balls, I came home to catch the score, the Jets were winning and did win, ESPN said Chrebet hurt his foot but should be OK for opening day and sure enough about 15 minutes later, ESPN confirmed Chrebet actually broke his foot and would be out 4-6 weeks. I had forgotten about the dream until that moment. I wasn't too happy obviously and it was all true except it turned out to be his foot and not his knee. And no, I did not have a dream the following week about Testaverde's injury, which was the closest I came to actually puking watching a Jets game......
i had a couple of jet dreams. Why does that sound familiar? Ok anyway, they were both involving me missing important games. I would wake up on a Sunday morning thinking that I missed the game. That's the worst feeling in the world
I wouldn't so call it a nightmare for me but I keep seeing D'Brickashaw Ferguson come into camp light as hell at around 280 pounds and not being able to put on the pounds to play at a steady weight over 310 pounds and Thomas Jones complaining at how he left a good run game at Chicago to come play for the JETS and consistently criticize how awful D'Brick is in the run game looking like Stretch Armstrong without the strong.
Here's my Jets nightmare I just had last night. I'm watching ESPN, the headline "Chrebet back!", and they show Chrebet standing on the sidelines in a Cowboys uniform. That sucked.
Anyone ever have that dream where you show up for the first Jets game dressed only in your underwear, only to be laughed at by 80,000 rabid fans?
