My first new thread. I made it!!!! I was pleasently suprised by Chad's performance last year considering I gave up on him. Getting through 16 games was huge, but he defintely needs to play better this year. To many interceptions. The bottom line with Kendall afair is who do we have to replace him. Yeah, its not good. No matter which side you believe, we need him for at least 1 more year, so lets hope they work it out. The only thing that bothers me about the off season is not sigining R. Moss and then on top of that the Pats sign him. He would have been a great fit for us. Lets hope someone steps up and gives us the big play threat because its sorely lacking. The Pats are due for a injury riddle season. Lets hope its starts in August. Looking forward to parking this year..... Not. Hey, Section M on the north side of the arena is the spot to park. The service rd. out to 120 is right there, always out of the lot and on my way within 10 minutes... always. Walk is 10-12 minutes but it worth it plus its still there.
We have big play threats. Coles, Cotch, Washington, and Miller are all capable of making big plays. They may not be at the same level as the top play makers in the league, but they all showed that there capable of making things happen last year. I believe Coles and Cotches average per catch is a bit deceiving due to the system we run. It would be nice to have a home run guy with burner speed to stretch the field but I don't think it's anywhere near as important as addressing the O-line situation. As far as the Pats injuries go we were pretty healthy ourselves last year. We're probably due as well.

I hope that doesn't happen.. TB is a very very important piece of the puzzle.. I just hope AD doesn't break Chad Penny's leg in week 1.. That would be bad for Jets nation..
A suspension for violation of the NFL substance abuse policy would be nice. This way he doesn't even have to get hurt. Who is the back?
My guess is not an injury, but that Moss' behavior and attitude send him to an insane asylum, where he sits all day staring blankly into space mumbling signals!
I'm just saying that since NE will have an injury plagued season according to the original post.. I wouldn't want anything to happen to ole chadwick.. That's all.. Plus, I'm in the camp of having the best players in there..
LOL see what you started sec314? Starting a thread doesn't mean in won't take on a life of it's own. Fun on a "Summer Eve"....!
Gee, I wanted some football talk, not trash talk. OK, I hope the Pats are completely healthy week # 1 are we beat them fair and square. And then, they start falling apart. Its gonna be our season Pat fan, the run is over. You guys got greedy and the football gods are mad.
I posted this a while back but "How about this scenario?Moss starts to slack off in practice and Brady yells at him. Meriwether is covering Moss and thinks that Brady is threatening him. Meriwether is in fear for his life so he shots Brady in self defense."
Moss is not going to be an issue in NE. If he starts to become a problem at all, they will just cut him and move on - they've won without him before and he's not the key to their team. Brady always has been, and will continue to be. End of story. He only cost them a 4th rounder and they still have a bunch of picks for next year (i think). This is all wishful thinking that he will be an issue.
