Here is the billion dollar question (and I know it will never happen). How would you feel if another team was looking to relocate or the NFL was going to add more teams and they were able to build a stadium and play in NY?
there's no way the NFL would add a third team to New York, whether or not it would work (which it wouldn't) that just would not happen. no stadium is ever going to be built in manhattan, at least not for 50 years when the new mets, yankees, jets/giants stadium is old
By it going up for sale again ,couldnt woody bid for it and build a stadium there? I realize he doesnt have the money to shell out for the whole prodject but would that be possible? Or would it be all the same with the Dolan groupo pulling political strings to stop any construction at the site that might take a peice of his pie!
I'm from Long Island and there must be twice as many people living there now then when I left in 1994. You could easily bild a fan base in Long Island alone that would be larger then 50% of the existing markets. Anyway, regardless of where (City, LI or upstate) would you support you now "more local/home" team?
