They are drafting Mario Williams or AJ Hawk. They will take the best defensive player in the draft, whoever that is. That being said, what happenned to all that ridiculous D'Angelo Williams talk?
i'm wondering the same thing not only about d'angelo but about a RB. is curtis martin all of a sudden gaining a step? everyone seemed to think we needed a RB now we don't?
I'm one that favors going on the record - let me do so and say that I think Mario Williams will be a much better pro than Ngata.
I hope so.This is why I think they should trade abe to the falcons for their 1st round pick next year so we could trade up and get quinn. That would be the best option for the jets.
It's Haloti Ngata  And while Ngata is great, I prefer Williams to him as a prospect. If we traded down and drafted Ngata or Williams, though, I'll be very happy.
D'Angelo is still a great player; will he be a Jets'? Chances are no....Should he be a Jets' ? Of course. D'Angelo is the real deal.

I don't think they are going defense at all. I think all this QB, Cutler and Leinart talk is a smokescreen. I have a feeling they are going to start in the tranches and draft Brick.
YES!, does anybody know what he did to his knee last year? All reports said that it was a knee injury, but was not specific. I think he was running on a torn ACL or something major. He would never tell anybody what injury he had and either would HERM, it would be catistrofic to his career. With that being said, he will regain his form from 2004 and be a step quicker than last year:buffaloblows:
I heard it was some bone spurs that were floating around in his knee. No ligament issues but the surgery required rest though. Now I feel he will come back and make an impact but I do not see him as a gamebreaker anymore.
I heard over the weekend somewhere that D. Williams is slipping and might last till the end of the 1st round.........If we get Seattle's pick, I would love to get him at #31, but I would think that INDY would take a shot at him.
I dont have all the answers but I dont think "Brick" is the answer..Did anybody see that game in November when Virginia Tech defensive end Darryl Tapp got the best of D'Brickashaw.. Tapp is not big at all (for the NFL)..(6-foot-1?, 252 pounds) and they say that Tapp is a second- or third-round pick... If the FRONT OFFICE decides to go OL, trade down to about 22 or 23 and collect some 2nd or 3rd round pick and grab Nick Mangold from Ohio State late in the 1st round Personally - I would love to see us trade down a few picks and nab Hawk at 9 or 10 and collect 2nd and 3rd round picks to rebuild..
