So I suppose you can tell your boss you are not working again until they give you a raise?

    Good luck with that.

Lets get a few things straight. First Kendall stated the Jets promised him a raise. Whether or not you believe it, I happen to believe they promised it but it doesnt matter either way which we believe, they had an excuse to give him 700,000. If your argument is we have to set an example, let me ask you, what do you think veterans and free agents think of the bush league move of putting him in rookie dorms. As far as Kendall making a difference, well maybe not in wins and loses, but many of you must not read quotes because players talked glowing of the guy. So we kill our season and make the dreaded Skins one of the strongest o-lines in football over 700,000! Yea I am not happy.

Funny that a union rep like Kendall would not get it in writing...

And it was over 1 million, not 700k...But that is not the point. A contract is a contract.

Well the skins signed him for 700,000 more then he was making here. Kendall turned into a jerk but it all could of been avoided.

I guess Kendall wasn't happy about making over $5million for 1 year of work.
Now I have a question for you, tell me what agent goes by a verbal agreement?
He pulled the same crap in AZ how do you think the Jets got him?

uh In what world does the loss of Pete Kendall destroy our season and the addition of Kendall make the Skins one of the strongest OLines?

I guess you didnt see the Giants game.....we shored up the only weakness on the skins line.....which had a running back run for over 1000 yards in little over half a season and allowed 19 sacks.

Contracts in the NFL today are done with huge signing bonus's with the yearly salary at an average rate. The news media never reported the signing bonus he received and only reported the yearly salary and made it sound like he was under paid. Since Kendall ran his mouth and the press ate it up, they went along with the farce of his mistreatment. If the Jets would give into Kendall they would have players demanding a pay raise too.

Ravens informed G Keydrick Vincent of his release.

The Jets have a need at guard and have been reported to have interest in Vincent, a mauler who didn't fit the Ravens' more athletic look along the offensive line. Chris Chester takes over at right guard in Baltimore.

Yes, but he's quick and has great footwork. Also, will play for the league minimum.
