Let's face it, we just played one of the best teams in the league. Simms was right, they have it all. Good running game, oline, dline, secondary, qb, wr, te. They just are that much better than most of the league. They are as good as advertised, so don't go and run and hide as a Jets fan just because we lost to an excellent team. Alot of teams are going to get crushed by them this year. The only team that comes close to talent on both sides of the ball is SD.

The pats definitely outclass SD. It'll take a huge game by anyone to stop them in the playoffs... I hope the Colts do it again.

I can't disagree with you Hemi. The Patriots just outplayed the Jets today. Plain and simple.

Our only prayer at this point is if Brady's arm falls off. If that doesn't happen you might as well hand them the Lombardi Trophy now.

I think the Jets took a step backwards this offseason relative to the Patriots. We were closer to them last season talent wise than this year's edition. We weren't even competitive today on either side of the LOS.

Tag this one squarely on the FO/CS. They get all the credit. They need to take some heat for this as well..

No. The Jets Defense is that bad. I don't think they could stop my daughters flag football team. Horrible.. The Pats defense looked bad at times. How does the Noodle Arm pick them apart?

Maybe its cause "Noodle Arm" is better than most give him credit for. Hell he was the best player in green today and was hobbling on the field.

Pats are clearly the team to beat this year and the Jets look like a very mediocre, pedestrian team. It's bad enough we didn't close the gap on those bastards in the offseason but the fact is the gap is now as wide as it's ever been. The Pats are superior in every facet of the game.

Chad looked good because the pats barely blitz and gave chad the under-neath change/dink-dunk crap basically for free, saying that, they still should of picked off chad twice.

The only team that can play with the Pats are the Colts and the Steelers. In our division I give the nod that maybe the Bills will steal a game because of their toughness.

  12. I can be upset as a jets fan that I have to listen to the most scumbag fan group in the league gloat about another fucking super bowl.

Really..is there a less deserving fan base in the league?

    Don't kid yourself

Let's not kid ourselves, the Jets defense is horrible... the Jets O-line is horrible. That can't be overcome. We have good skill players, good ST, but that doesn't win consistently, it's the blocking and the tackling... If they don't get better at it, like real soon, this is going to be a long season.

The way to beat the Pats will be blitzing Brady all game long, like Pittsburg would, like they did to Manning in the playoffs 2 years ago.

Let's see, Cowboys fans in the early 90s, 9ers fans in the late 80s, Steeler fans in the late 70s. It happens every time a team wins a lot. Unfortunately we have to deal with it in our division.

  15. The problem this time, is I'm convinced it's never gonna end.

You add in the Red sox impending success and it's unbearable. Why even watch sports anymore?

Although I couldn't help but recognize how, when Randy Moss is interested, he's an amazing talent, this game was lost in the trenches. Both sides of the ball.

'Can't nobody block me' - bah. I swear I could watch Brady drop back, flip to Columbo a rerun, watch to a commercial and and then flip back, and he'd still be sitting back there untouched.

Seriously, the reason Brady looked so good is because we had (1) NO pass rush (he had MINUTES to pass) and (2) NO run defense. Seriously, good job moving to the 3-4 with no nose tackle. Jesus!

I said something like that in the game thread. The man had enough time to eat a full course dinner before he threw the ball.

That's more embarassing than the score to be honest.
