Exactly. The guy would have been drafted much higher based on his talent. He just can't stay healthy.

I agree. IR him for a minor injury, gives us back the roster slot and keeps him in the fold till next season when he can produce.

    Disappointing though.

No, Leftwich was Del Rio's very first draft pick.

    Ganggreen front page

I'm completely confused by the GangGreen story on the home page

"Who suffered a knee injury in the game against the Patriots" + "He did not play against the Patriots" = does not compute

Did he not play but someone took him out while standing on the sideline?

Yes that's brilliant. bring in someone who is more injury prone than Chad. Great idea. [IMG]

Why not? I'm not saying to bring him in and start him. I'm saying bring him in as an insurance policy for Clemens.

Do you feel more comfortable with Tuiasosopo?

They fake the injury so he can stay on the team, but not take up a Roster spot. They player still gets paid.

This is the equivalent of redshirting a college freshman. Stuckey was not going to get much playing time this year, anyway. There's nothing to cry about with this.

I was always impressed with leftwich. I think he's a good, solid starting qb -- the problem? He's injury prone.
