Spoken by Mangini in his press conference on SNY. I guess we'll have to wait until Chad gives up the reigns but I just heard it with my own ears. Anybody else hear this as well?

As long as we cut that shitbag McCareins, I don't care if Rich Kotite is our damn quarterback. This loss sucks big time.

That's kind of bizarre for a secretive guy like Mangini making a bold statement like that.... That kind of makes me upset, not even giving Kellen a shot to take it

He should be. Kellen showed promise but I'm not ready to hand over the steering wheel yet...

It's Mangini's prerogative to handle the transition as he sees fit at this point.

It's not like Chad has a prayer of standing up for more than a few games with that offensive line. We'll see Clemens sooner or later. Hopefully not after a really serious injury to Chad.

Very disappointing to hear a blanket statement like that 20 minutes after Clemens effectively leads the team back to tie against possibly the best defense in the NFL. As Winston has noted, what happened to "The best player plays"?

I may get flamed for this, but theres something inside me that still wants Chad to be our starting QB.

People forget KC playd like shit for 3 quarters, 1 good quarter does not mean he deserves a damn thing.

After a few minutes to digest it has occured to me that quite possibly Mangini either made a mistake or is saying that so the Dolphags will prepare for Chad as opposed to KC

I think Mangini as a young HC in the largest media market in the country, is TERRIFIED of a QB controversy, and it's working against his better judgment...

Best player plays is right.... But not when your reputation as a coach is at stake... Grow a pair Eric....

You crazy asshole! What the hell is the matter with you? Did you watch Clemens today? He played a little over average vs. The Ravens defense and if it were not for McCareins, could of sent this game into overtime! Chad would not of survived those tough hits like Clemens did! You are a crazy fan, did you see the zip on the ball Clemens' had? Chad couldn't do that! FLAMED.

i would not exactly call KC playing like "shit" the 1st 3 quarters........

i saw some flashes during those 3 quarters and even without the 4th quarter performance i would have been satisfied by the showing.....

now i am almost convinced he may eventually validate his 2nd round status.

it also confirms to me that this is CP's last year with the jets....

KC showed a lot of promise today, but I think we need to see more before he gets rock star status.
