I've had it with Pennington! If our team is to fall victim to terrible interceptions it might as well be on 40 yard bombs not some weak ass fades.
I have trouble blaming the defense. When you get absolutely 0 support from your offense, how good are they supposed to play? It is a proven fact that when the defense is on the field most of the game getting the ball run down their throat, they tire out and eventually collapse. So I blame the coaches. I blame the coaches for constantly trying sweep plays when they weren't working EVER. I blame the coaches for poorly coaching the offensive line. I blame the coaches for taking chances at the wrong times, but not being more aggressive in general. I blame the coaches for teaching poor line penetration techniques. The run defense was good most of the game, but the Jets can't get to the quarterback to save their lives. I blame the coaches for allowing the team to continue playing the way it has been playing... And I blame the coaches for not making a change that is obvious to everyone. I will continue to blame the coaches so long as the above does not change, and number 10 continues to take the field.
Coaches and Chad...the coaches aren't putting players into a position to succeed on either side of the ball, and the offensive playcalling has been pretty bad. Then obviously you can't be aggressive on offense because of Chad... The defense has been bad, but, good enough to win the last 2 weeks with a competent offense.
It's the coaching staff and the front office. They made terrible decisions going into this season, leaving this Jets team with less talent in the big men than I've ever seen before on the Jets. Then the coaching staff has totally blown the 3-4 decision and is now totally blowing the QB decision. It's ugly.
We are just too predictable with Pennington in there it seems. Pass protection was somewhat nice but run game nonexistant. Coles and Leon are heros. Brad Smith made some plays. I hope Clemens is our man on O and that we get a significant upgrade at NT. Defense did have a little more life today. Sort of.
It's Manigi's arrogance. Not sure why everybody doesn't see it. He said we will play the 3-4 and now, fuck the results we will play it. He said Pennington is his QB before the season started and now he says after the game he still is. He refuses to admit his mistakes.
