Sorry for the lack of intelligence on this post, but..... c'mon it's bordering on ridiculous now isn't it? The guy threw 2 yard dump-offs all GAME! How many times did we have like a 3rd a 7 and he threw a two yard underneath to Jones or Washington and they got a couple yards after the catch but not enough for the first. The guy's just got no arm at all anymore...and to clarify, arm strength doesn't mean throwing the ball high and wobbly downfield. Arm strength means what Clemens did in his two minute drive, step up off balance and throw a strike with zip. Or, from the right hash, throw a 10 yard out to the left sideline and get it there. Please don't blame the defense. They gave up essentially 6 points, it wasn't the whole defense that gave up the other 7 it was Elam :wink: Clemens must start next week or I'm calling for Eric Mangini's head.
Actually, the Bills D has been pretty much doing what they did to the Jets today all year. They are a tough team to score TDs against in the red zone. They can be worn down, but if they get breathers or, as happened today, get a nice lead, they stop other teams in the red zone. This was the first time all year that the Bills D got a real contribution from the offense in the fourth quarter. The Jets problem was smacking Edwards once too often. Losman is a Jet-killer.
For the most part the Bills D gives up yards, not points. You have problems just like we do, but you also have some good looking young guys and your coach should have just left Chad in there. At that point he's only messing with clemens confidence. Best of luck the rest of the way.
