There has been so little talk of the Jets moving up to grab Bush that it makes me believe the Jets may actually be interested. I'm not sure what it would take, but If it would only cost our 2 picks in rd1 would you do it?
Hell yea!!! i just dont think that anyone else wants to do it or hear about it...which is why i dont even care to post anything about it...I say trade our #4 an attempt the # 35 for the # 1 overall...if not the # 35 then throw in the #29...i want bush ( i hear myself saying that all the time)
If we could/do trade down, the only reason is Matt Leinart!!! A QB is the cornerstone of a franchise, not a running back. The pats won 2 super bowls without a good RB and the steelers did it with a RB by committee all year.
If I had your faith in Leinart or any other qb in the draft this year mabey I'd be with you. I'm 33 years old and have been watching football most of my life, and I am not sure I have ever seen a rb like Bush. I'd rather get him this year, and see how CP and PR play out. If the qb position still needs to be addressed the Jets could target Quinn next year. I am one who believes you should build a strong defense and have a good running game in order to win a super bowl. Bush is just to good to pass up IMO. It is possible to win a title without a great qb
I think we can improve our OL to the point that no one gets killed. IMO he's worth building the offense around
Same here, if I thought he could fall past #1 I would be very interested in trading for Bush. Hard to see it happening though.
I'd take Bush if we had the chance for sure. But we don't really have a chance at him. I doubt the Texans want to trade back all the way to #4 for Ferguson, because there's a chance he could go #2 now that the Saints got Brees.
For teh two first roundrs in a heartbeat but it will atke much more than that and therefore wouldn't be worth it.
I absolutely positively would not do this trade because it makes absolutely positively no sense. We have needs at O-Line and D-Line more than RB.
