We could be in greeat shape next season according to my GM insight, well I'm really just wishfull thinking. Give me a minute and I'll at least give you some hope or something to shake a stick at.

Lets begin with free agency, trade the 29th to the Oakland Raiders for the rights to Charles Woodson and sign him to a 5 year deal. Since we got them on the phone lets swap the #4 for the #7 and there 2nd round pic#37, also that 357lb.restricted free agent Defensive tackle named Terdell Sands that you are shopping for 7th round pic? We'll give you our 7th round pic for him.

We sign Jon Runyan to a solid contract, sign Lavar arrington before he stops at Miami "whew, this looks to good to believe already" and its over, Why? because the draft comes on in aaaaa..... Now! With the 7th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft the New York Jets select---

We don't have 6 comp picks.

We will get one for Herm and one for LaMont.

    Not a real pick anyway.

I didn't know Woodson was out there like that I thought he had the franchise tag. We need to talk to this guy anyone know of a CB prospect in the draft better than Woodson?

This thread assumes a lot of those guys aren't being targeted by other teams.

We already have the deal with Woodson out of the way, though it doesn't matter. If we are going to grab a FA CB we should take Dyson. He is pretty good, not great, but good, and will come significantly cheaper than Woodson.
