will Revis shut him up by shutting him down? better yet, will Elam shut him up by laying him out?

or will TO get the best of us?

yeah, Elam isn't a very good Safety but i love how he lays the wood.

if he can just get one open shot at TO...

I'll throw up all my turkey if i see him get wide open like he has been these past couple of weeks. However alot of the team they've played, use the cover 2 scheme. We need to jam all their receivers no zone crap.

definitely. one thing i do feel confident about is Revis' tackling in space. i don't think TO will get away too often once he has the ball because Revis is a sure tackler.

Will Revis be guarding TO though, because I've seen he hasn't guarded the number 1 that often, and when he has, he only does it partially...

I hope he does and think he should, and maybe I'm mistaken, but I haven't seen him guard the number 1 all too often, let alone the 2nd best WR in the NFL...

hmm, now that you mention it, i'm not sure. who started last game, Revis and Poteat? if that's the case, i'd rather Revis on TO.

If I'm the Jets, I bracket TO with a corner and Rhodes all game.... I wouldn't let Elam on the same field against a team with a passing game like Dallas has....

TO could put one little move on Elam and be off to the races, easily....

I think they move them around, but when Revis isn't on the #1 he's probably in single coverage on the #2, while Poteat and a safety double the #1.

    Just a thought.

Rhodes over the top, Revis underneath.

Elam should be down low in run support and around Witten.

TO is playing out of his mind right now, and he should have at least 1 TD against us....if we hold him to anything less, our secondary has improved greatly

How is T.O. playing out his mind right now? All the TD's I saw were on blown coverages and one nice play where he eluded 1 guy to get to the endzone.

However, I think we'll have big problems against this offense. We are not built to be able to cover that much talent at WR and Romo is extremely hard to pressure.

not as good as laverneous coles is!

Seriously though, hopefully we can get on Romo like we did Rothlisberger.

Romo can run a little better than Roethlisberger, but he can't shed defenders like Big Ben can... If Romo were the QB last Sunday, we would have eclipsed 10 sacks....

I think the Jets secondary has to mix it up. I think they come out double teaming TO, but then later give double team looks and drop to Cover 2, or blitz doubling the TE. Romo can be confused by defensive shifts and beat EARLY in downs. Even more important than TO is to maintain Romo in the pocket and not allow him to make plays LATE in downs. If he does that, we are in trouble.

Also, we need to open up the offense against Dallas and exploit their safeties. The longer our O is on the field and the more points we score, the less we have to worry about TO.

Gotta keep Romo in the pocket, he gets more dangerous when he starts moving around. The D was able to get some coverage sacks last week but there was nobody on the field the likes of TO. Keep Romo in the pocket and double Owens all game, force the rest of there offense to make plays.
