Terrell Owens and Keyshawn Johnson Don't Like Each Other

Here's what we know: the Dallas Cowboys are 12-1 and playing some pretty inspired football. Keyshawn Johnson thinks former head coach Bill Parcells should get some of the credit -- after all, the Tuna did put together the roster. Terrell Owens disagrees, and in the process of doing so takes a few shots -- or 12 -- at Meshawn:
"I'm probably the main reason he's in the booth right now," Owens said, referencing the fact that his signing led to Johnson's Dallas ouster. ... "For me, if he's gonna be hater and throw me under the bus, (it's) because he and Bill are real good friends. Nobody would even know he won the Super Bowl unless you checked the roster.

"My thing is, we came out the same year. He was a first-rounder, I was a third rounder. I'm still playing, he's not. You compare our stats up until the time he retired, it's a no-brainer. I'd challenge him to come out and try to make this team. He'd be a third or fourth receiver at this point. He can hate all he wants to. Compare the stats, they don't lie.

"Here's a guy, writes the book, 'Give Me the Damn Ball,' and he has 106 catches and one touchdown, and that was off a tipped pass. I'll never do that in my career. He can hate all he wants to."
Nothing like two guys in love with themselves getting into a cat fight. Johnson seems like a reasonable guy, and he's a million percent better than Michael Irvin on NFL Sunday Countdown, but I think T.O. wins this round. Unanimously. In fact, there's not one thing I can point to and say, "well, Owens' was obviously exaggerating there." It's all pretty much spot on, or just very, very embarrassing ... or both.

Good news for Johnson, though: if the ESPN thing doesn't work out, it sounds like Owens will put in a word for him as Dallas' fourth-string receiver. That's not humiliating.

I used to hate T.O. when he was in philly. Now I'm not so sure.. I definitely have a lot more respect for him. He and Meshawn should square off on PPV. I'd pay muchos dineros to see that beat down.. even if it only lasted two minutes.

What TO said had nothing to do with that Keyshawn was talking about...

Johnson is right and Owens does need to shut up about Parcells, because if it wasn't for Parcells, Owens wouldn't have Romo throwing him the ball.

He wasn't throwing Parcells under the bus.. this time anyway. He was saying Wade Phillips should get credit for the improvements over last year.

No, people need to take shots at Parcells as often as possible. He's an asshole and he wasted at least two seasons for the Cowboys.

Yeah I know, but Keyshawn Johnson was mad at TO because he previously made comments about Parcels being a bad coach and being the "problem"...just because he wasn't getting the ball as much as he likes.

I don't if you can call going to the playoffs and losing only because Romo lost the hold on the "slick" ball a WASTED season.

Not for nothing, but what did Fat Parcells have to do with TO dropping 80,000 passes during the course of last year? Hell, even McCareins looked better on some days. Hehe, get a load - two fat mouths having a fat mouth contest.

He effectively set up the Cowboys to be successful for the next 8-10 years, just like he did when he was here.... We're just now starting to hit the skids, now that most of the team he assembled is gone...

Exactly the point I was trying to make. Parcells built that team.

Keyshawn Johnson is right, and Terrell Owens doesn't have a viable comeback. Owens just insults Johnson's playing ability and stats when neither of those things have anything to do with what Johnson was talking about.

Big Bill fan from the past...people should drop the idea that Bill is anything close to anything that could be conceived as a successful coach in the NFL anymore.

Who the fuck cares what kind of car he can build if he cant drive the fucking thing…and who really wants to listen to meshaun blowing the tuna anymore?

I get why people hate the Tuna, but nevertheless you can't look away from the fact that he successfully turned around every team he has coached. Granted every team didn't win a SB with him, but every team became competitive and came out of the cellar. That is pretty damn impressive. If he stayed with any one of them long enough he'd probably have a few more rings himself.

Yah, well, how about a ring for US? That's really the only one I care about. And it's why I have him pinned up against the side of my garage with a snow plow as we speak.

He might not have gotten rings, but he had us set to keep going with Bellichick at the helm...but we saw how that turned out when he showed his true colors.

The Tuna years were my most enjoyable as a Jets fan so I can't complain. If you need to turn a team around he's your man...

Yeah, I'd like a big sparkly one for us too... lol I won't hold it against you though. Not while your driving a snow plow. :)

Meshawn should shut up as usual -- I've turned off the ESPN show on gameday to watch the guys at CBS specifically because ESPN hired this loudmouth. Dont you guys remember when this clown was saying how Tampa Bay needed to bring in Parcells if they wanted to win a Super Bowl while Tony Dungy was the coach & the guy who built the core of the Tampa Bay team that won the Super Bowl?? Gee, sounds a little hypocritical, dont ya think?

Whats funny to me is that these 2 egomaniacs are the only 2 players that I can remember whose behaviors in the locker room were so bad that their respective teams actually had to de-activate them from the roster in the middle of the season because their conduct was so detrimental to the team itself.

T.O.'s ridiculous. He's had Steve Young, Donovan McNabb, Tony Romo, and (to a lesser extent) Drew Bledsoe throwing him the ball. That's 4 pro-bowl caliber QBs.

Keyshawn's list of throwers (CP, Brad Johnson, Drew Bledsoe, Jake Delhomme) wilts in comparison (IMO).

As for Parcells that fat ba$tard deserves the 2 of these players. Him, KJ and TO should be a 3 man bowling team. Tuna is concerned w/only 1 thing -- his legacy. He's like that gorgeous stuck up beauty queen back in HS, the girl we all wanted. And she knew it. And she would tease us & flirt w/us acting interested and wait for us to come to ask her out for a date. Then she'd leave us hanging yes or no before finally breaking our hearts. If she did go out w/us, she would act out in love w/us before totally blindsiding us to go out w/some other guy. Back in 90s it was a joke w/how BP toyed & played w/the owners of Tampa Bay when they were courting him for the job until finally they had had enough of his BS & got Jon Gruden.

Granted, Parcells is a future Hall of Fame coach --- not arguing w/that. But he has become as legendary for walking out as he has for winning. He walked out as the Giants' coach (after making sure Belicheck left to go to Cleveland first so that BB wouldnt take the Giants right back to the Super Bowl & win and then have everyone question who was the real brains on the coaching staff. He walked out in New England and walked out on the Jets. The latter w/the JETS, he left us pregnant & on the side of the road with the Testaverde contract & Al Groh as coach who was mentally at UVA at the time. After he left the Jets, Parcells swore that he was finished with coaching. God forbid someone question the success of the Cowboys as it relates to this big fat b!tch.
