Barry Sanders? Warrick Dunn? Tiki Barber? Priest Holmes? Emmitt Smith

I am not in favor of drafting Williams because we have three RB's already on the roster and we have bigger fish to fry at positions like QB, RT, LG, NT, ILB, and more.

Do I think we need a RB of the future? Yes...just not this year.

According to Memphis's site, he is 5-10/217.

Emmitt Smith was around the same size, too.

Yeah that was already proven incorrect.

He measured in at the combine at 5 foot 8 and a half inches tall...208 pounds...

Height for a Rb means diddly squat. Deangelo has the perfect build for a RB. Hopefully teams get scared off by his height and he drops to 29. Not likely but we would have the steal of the draft if thats the case.

the problem with the point system is it doesnt take into consideration a specific teams wants and needs...if the jets knew for example that the guy they want is going to be there at 13 then who cares about the points...they still get their guy and receive 2 additional picks...sounds like a good trade

It also doesn't take into account the depth of the draft.`

The Ravens would get our #1 at 4. In return they give us their 1st,2nd and 4th. Also next years 1st otherwise let them draft Brady Coyle.

I'd rather move down to Oakland's number 7, get extra pick(s), and still get a top ten pick.

Wait and see who is on the board. I've never seen Williams, but if he is a Bruce Smith / Reggie White type and is on the board or if Leinert on the board, stay pat and pick them. If those guys are gone trade down. The diffeence being real solid QBs and Des are tougher to find later in the draft than OL.

I think he is more of a Peppers type then those 2..Either way the guys would look great in Green and White..

    bottomline

the ravens could get cutler or young (not sure whom) with the 13th pick...why would they trade up?

Why not trade for another quarterback that shouldn't have went in the first? Then we'll get Harrington. And have the deepest team with shitty quarterbacks.

that's not right at all...it may be, but the titans, raiders, and cardinals all have a shot at taking a qb....not to mention someone leapfrogging up

you make a good statement but i just believe the raiders are sticking to brooks and marky at QB, the titans take matt, and the cardinals stay with warner...

i'm thinking the ravens will get cutler (if the raiders take young) or they'll get young (if the raiders don't)
