Looking at the teams today, I realized that very few head coaching changes will happen this year:

    AFC East - Cameron

    AFC South -none

AFC North - Billick is probably safe for at least one more year

AFC West - Possibly, Herm but very doubtful

NFC East - None. Coughlin safe, AGAIN.

NFC South - Atlanta Fox is not getting fired

NFC North - Marianelli probably safe because of start just like Coughlin last year

NFC West - Linehan probably OK because ofall the injuries. Nolan, maybe but nothing points to his sacking

So this offseason, only Atlanta is an absolute definite. Cameron is likely. Outside chances of Herm, Marianelli, Linehan and Nolan leaving but slim.

So possibly 6, but more likely only two or three, and possibly one if Parcells keeps Cameron. Should be one of the lowest coach turnovers in a long time.

There will be a half dozen firings this year.

Not sure about who but I think Billick and the Ravens will part company as will Marvin Lewis and the Bengals. Marinelli has shown more than enough improvement to keep his job in Detroit unless Millen is finally swept out.

Mangini is in the chance to leave category along with Herm, Linehan, Cameron and Fox.

Coughlin would get fired if new Gm Jerry Reese is allowed to put his stamp on the team. This is assuming a bad first round playoff exit of course. The Eli Manning era ia sputtering at this point and somebody has to answer for that sooner rather than later.

Can't believe Billick has a job.

He's had a couple of very good seasons and a bunch of ok ones. That tends to keep coaches around.

He's been eating off that defense too long....he stuck wit Boller for too long IMO. This year most of the games they lost was because of his coaching....I just don't understand it. Superbowl or No Superbowl.

Billick is a horrific coach, his success merely a product of the defensive talent on his team.

Now that his defense is getting a little older, a little slower, and a lot less dominant, his incapacity is showing.

Kind of like Cowher... then he finally won a Super Bowl. But Cowher is the proverbial answer to the Jets woes. Providing you give the guy enough time this is probably going to be true. How many years does he get? Jet fans aren't patient enough overall.

AFCE - I doubt Parcells lets Cameron go. Cameron didn't draft that team and it is a horrible team. Everyone else looks okay for now although Mangini is teetering.

AFCN - I want to say that Billick was told he was returning next season. I can't believe Lewis lasts much longer though.

AFCW - You could make a case for Shanahan being a huge underachiever. One more year for Norv and Herm

AFCS - Best division in football this year.

NFCE - Andy Reid might let himself out or be shown the door, same with Joe Gibbs.

NFCN - Looks safe for everyone.

NFCW - Nolan hasn't done squat

NFCS - Yikes! You could make an argument for all but Payton being gone.
