    Yep.

As this trend continues, Direct TV executives are giving each other high fives across the country.

Makes the sweet little Oasis I found in Tampa seem all the more like paradise…A high def TV with surround sound for the Jets games and all the beer you can drink for $10.

Oh yeah, the media on top of things. They are to busy rating Pettite's press conference performance or starting something with A-Rod. No disprespect, but that's funny. Trust me, its in their invoices and not every Giant fan has gotten theirs yet because I made some calls. Hey, I would love to say I am wrong but I doubt it.

I just called my buddy. Its for next year. They Giants put in the letter to let everyone know ahead of time. The thing I am concerned about is it for lifetime or is it for 10 years only. He is going to find out. If its not for lifetime, no matter what the amount, I am done.

When the Jets Charge me the PSL's. I will decline the tickets and some CFO from the Widget Factory can have my seats. I will watch at home, or I am sure that I will still get tickets real easy on game day!!!!

I still have a hard time believing the whole PSL thing will come to fruition with this stadium.....perhaps i'm being naive or optimistic......but considering the naming rights, the joint ownership, I don't see how they can justify it.....at least for those of us in the nose bleeds.

But if there is any sort of PSL whatsoever, no matter how relatively inexpensive it might be, I'm out on principle alone.........and I would hope they will have the courtesy of announcing any sort of decision on this before season ticket money is due......of course that would be the right thing to do

This PSL thing is getting out of control, it is just to far over the top. How do they expect families to come up with 10K a seat and 4-6 people are going? 60K is a shit load of money to pay. And if the seats arent for a lifetime garuntee, that is just beyond retarded, because I can garuntee that once the 5-10 year span is up, it won't be 10K a seat, it will be closer to the 30K the cowboys are supposedly charging. That is just complete BS and it is rediculously wrong for them to do, especially when they don't need the money back to pay for the stadium, it isn't like the Jets begged the state to pay for half, and are recouping the money for them. Besides what is the 3 of seats in the stadium? 80,000? so think of it this way if they charge 45,000 PSL's, that is $450,000,000 just in PSL's thats if its only 45,000 seats given out for season ticket holders, I'm betting it is closer to 65,000 seats are seasonn tickets, but i dont really know the exact number. BTW if is 65,000 seats, thats $650,000,000 which I believe pays for Woody's half of the stadium... Just in PSL's alone. So those dickwads can shove it in my opinion.

I've been trying to use the good ole "male health take" on the ticket thing for the last year. Meaning, let's say I have this tumor the size of a watermelon growing on the side of my head. No big deal. I'll just ignore it, and it'll go away.

Jets fans are gonna get royally screwed. Bank on it. No, don't. You won't have any money left.

EDIT: No matter how long you've had your tickets, the "earliest" the Jets FO has them going back to "on record" is 1977. Long story that I've posted here more than once. Utter garbage. My contention from the very beginning, even with the WSS, is that this is going to be precisely like "going condo". The common people are going to be bankrupted out of them. Now I'm all for capitalism, commerce, and the American Way every which way but loose, but I'll be shocked if it's anything less than this side of Draconian.

I'm a long time ticket holder and for me the math is simple. If its not a lifetime license, but only a 10 year license, that means 80 Seasonal games, or $125 per seasonal game. Being incredibly optimistic, lets assume avg. ticket prices for the next 10 years stays at only $90. That brings you to a ticket price of $215 per game, not including parking or pre-season tickets. At that point how many of us are still going to the stadium ? I for one will sit on my couch and watch the games on my 50 inch plasma hd set.

Might as well just use the money that would be going to a PSL and spend it on a nice HDTV. The only problem for me is, I don't live in NJ anymore so I don't get the NY channels, and are screwed if the philly stations don't show them. I'm not getting DirectTV. (their HD quality couldn't hold a candle to FIOS). I can only hope that Verizon bids on the rights for it.

Yeah OK New York Jets, Here is my $15,000! Screw putting that money into my house or a new car. As long as I can see shit football in the rain and Cold but in a new stadium it would be money well spent.
If I lost my tickets that have been in the family since '69 for any other reason, I would get upset. But in this case of fat wealthy businessmen getting fatter and wealthier I do not even care!

I will watch on my Plasma, and at Halftime, I will chant for my wife to show me her tits!

My grandfather bought season tickets from the Jets when the Jets became the Jets. They've been passed down to me. I have got to just about every Jet game since 1984 when I was old enough to watch a game. Up untill the last 2 seasons that is, because I already can't fork out $200 a game for my wife and I to go any more.... so I've been selling off 1/2 season tickets (1 preseason, 4 regular season) to other Jets fans on this site for face value. All together, my family has 12 seats. We used to have 16, but instead of keeping and profiting off the extra tickets we had (my uncle died, and other aunt/uncle moved) we gave them up so other fans could buy them.

Now, this? This is our reward for being loyal dedicated fans? We have row 22 tix on the 35. So I'm sure they're gonna hit me for $10k per. I can think of so many other things I would rater do with the 20k it's gonna cost my wife and i to keep our tickets. My 52" LCD and FiOS will be a nice alternative.
