The Jets Blog is reporting that the Pats are looking to resign Law. Could this be groundwork to move away from a 1st round CB like Cromartie? Could they be eyeing someone above us? Do we really care? I am not particularly enthralled with any of the proposed Top 10, but that said, are Beli and Co. getting ready to make some draft day moves, I suspect so.
You are right, I should have tagged it a bit differently, but watching the Pats personnel moves over the last few years, they rarely go after a player and then not sign him. I'd put my money on him signing before the draft.
3 days ago I was thinking that the Pats may make a move to resign Law. Fine with me; he is no Samuel.
fuck that old bastard, and ty law, too! fuck the patriots and everything that rhymes with patriots. fuck tom brady, and fuck the boston red sox!!! fuck boston terriers, boston celtics, boston market, boston cream pie, boston bruins, the band boston, and everything else related to that fuckin' piece of shit state of mASSachusetts
It affects us because the Pats ONCE AGAIN will beat us to a good player while our stupid, dumbass, youngass front office huddles in the corner crying.
Law is well passsed his prime. I hope they do get Law. McFadden would run by him that much faster out of the slot on a "Go" route.
The Patriots signing Ty Law would certainly trump the fact that the Jets have acquired Faneca, Jenkins, Pace, Woody, and Richardson. What morons. :breakdance:
You mean old guard, really fat injured guy, 1 year wonder, guy I don't know and therefore he sucks, and an old FB? The Jets have no idea how to build a team. If they were really a smart as they think they are, we wouldn't have Chad, DRob, Thomas, Barrett, Barton, or anyone crappy anymore...AND they would be replaced by real Pro Bowl guys.
I guess we'll agree to disagree. I like all of the signings (except Pace) and think they are appropriate moves to rejuvenate this team. I don't think we're playoff bound just yet but definitely moving in the right direction. Teams of pure youth don't win squat. Teams also can't just replace every player at will. They fill needs as they come up, and hopefully get lucky in the draft. The Jets have had two solid drafts under Mangini and Tannenbaum and should continue to do so. Ultimately, we'll know whose right in December, but I'd bet all my vcash that the Jets come out of this one the winning side.
Maybe the Pats are thinking of making Ole Man Law into a stationary safety. He's awful smart, still, but he ain't got no legs any more. I don't know though, Ole Man Law, he can get awful dangerous with his waving.
You are my new best friend..and I would like them to get Ty Law so our receivers can just burn past him...
Ty Law is fun to beat. I like the fact that he's getting another job with a team who's close by. Should be fun.
Ty was decent while in NY. But its been some time now and hes even older. I wouldnt mind cotch beating him though.
