What if Steve Hutchinson got hurt, what if Walter Jones got hurt every team in the league needs depth it doesnt mean we should spend Day 1 picks for them.
I am sure that the depth at O-line will be addressed in the draft and post draft when players get cut...The season doesn't start until Sept. and if we still lack depth then, that is when I'll worry..
Common sense would say that since we do not have the #1 overall pick we will be selecting the 6th BPA supposely
Well maybe now that we will become 1/2 owners in a stadium & have a super training base the portraying of us being 2nd class citizen will stop. Well as most on this board claim you build via the draft then whiffing on Bradway/Herms 5 picks & Brick is one of the reason we are a lower echelon team at least IMHO. Herm brought us 5 years of so called stability & we got zero results for it right? Actually BP in less time did more then Herm did. We had Walton for what 8 years & got nothing for that either. Last year showed that Man/Tan were very poor evulators of players. We will see what this year holds but with such lower class players on the team as Barton, Thomas, Robertson, Barrett, K. Coleman, Bowens, Penny, Coles, Cotch, Brick just to name a few dims our chances of being a elite team IMHO. Thanks for the A+ in spelling remark.
Ohhhhh...got it. So I'm a Gholston guy. I'm a big fan of a monster pass rush which, obviously, we didn't have last year. I think a pass rush is the key to the entire defense. Who's your guy? Which player should we take at 6?
hahaha that's just awful. give me a name -- wait, that's asking a lot from you, probably too much... give me a position AND a reason.
Tell me who will be available at #6 if you have such a crystal ball BTW why not give me your explanation why since you have been a NYJ fan we have not won either a AFC or World Championship
so let's say Glen Dorsey is BPA at #6, you think we should take him? based on Post 83, you would; and that's just a bad idea.
When will be the day where you grow a pair of balls and say "i want (insert prospect name here)"- until then, expect little respect from the vast majority of this board since you whine incessantly and make no suggestions as how to make the team better. I know you type the quote above with a smile on your face, but for once- humor me with a selection for our 6th pick. Name a prospect. Go safe and pick Chris Long if you'd like. Be a man, for once on this board and pick a name to draft. You know who is available to draft right now- even if they aren't there at 6, just give me a name.
Why when I do not know who will be available at 6 do you? Also see my post #91 & give me your answer to my question please
trade the 6th pick to dallas who wants mcfadden for the 22 & 28 picks 22 sweed wr texas 28 mayo ilb tennessee
Our record doesn't reflect how bad we were, we were in every game. The problem was we did not address the OL and the DL and it bit us where the sun don't shine. Finally the brass saw the light, years later and lo and behold we applaud them for something they should have done right away in FA. Amazing!
it's too late to worry then. The NYJs must address this depth issue in the second half of the draft, and with whatever stray free agents show up between now and September.
