Just heard on NFL network, from Adam Shefter, Jets and Radiers both tried to move up to number 2...best case could be if everything plays out...Long 2 Ryan 3...NO moves up to for and grabs Dorsey, but I think the Chiefs are going to trade out of 5 and there is no doubt a team that wants Mcfadden will get the spot, or the Pats will try and leap frog to grab Gholston...
I'm so glad this fell through. Nobody in this draft is worth a top 5 tradeup. It's debatable if it's worth trading into the 6 to 10 range to get Ryan, even for a team that desperately needs a QB.
It's all on the Falcons now. If Ryan is their pick, we get McFadden. If they take Dorsey, we either get Gholston or hopefully trade down.
I'm very glad this fell through as well. I'm willing to sit at 6 and pray someone is available, and it's looking more and more like Gholston is the pick. KC is going to trade down to someone who will then take Dorsey.
Not likely.... they are going to either screw us by taking DMC or Gholston. The Falcons are going to take Dorsey because they can always get a guy like Flacco, Henne or Brohm in the early 2nd round. To me it's clear..... if you are a DMC guy you wnat Oakland to take Gholston and if your a Gholston guy you want the Raiders to take DMC. For me worst case scenario is somehow both Gholston and DMC are gone as well as Dorsey and the only guy sitting at 6 is Ryan. I think the only viable trade partner is Carolina at 13 and what would they give up to get ahead of the Ravens for Ryan? My guess is not much.
