After the draft, everything seems set except QB. How do you feel about our running game, and our WR potential.

Do you feel with good QB play we can have a good offense?

The OL still worries me....I hope they sign another veteran or 2 OL for depth, cause I'm not feeling season long success here just yet.:jets:

I actually like the QB situation with Clemens as the starter & Penny as the back-up.

Veteran leadsership should not worry all of you about the OL. It took the Giants O-Line 3 years to gel and now that we replaced a huge hole from last year (ala Pete Kendall) we should be ready to roll

    Don't forget Ainge.

I believe a QB on Indy came from Tennesee:up:

The offensive draft pick I am most anxious to see in action is Stuckey.

Less anemic than it was before. I'm not expecting top 10, maybe between 11 to 15 if Clemens' improves. (If it's Chad forget it, dink and dunk will get you in the 20s, assuming your receivers actually survive). A bolstered defense and an improve running game with the O-line should make the Jets at least 9-7 this year.

If Stuckey can stay healthy we have one of the best #3's in the game, that is my bold call for the year. Keller will come in and be huge mis-match wise for us. I would like this kid to be our Shannon Sharpe, let him run routes every play and just flat out, outrun somebody to go catch the football.

Marcus Henry will have to produce big-time on ST to make this squad because Wallace Wright is huge on ST and I doubt he is going anywhere unless Henry blows his ST play out of the water...

Extremely versatile...we should be able to grind it on the left side...potential is there on the right side...consistent players in Cotch and Coles...explosive/potentially explosive guys in Keller and Leon...a solid, grinding type RB...QB game should improve...

I'd say we can be pretty good. We'll still have needs, but we should improve and be at least solid all around.

I'm with you there. We know what we have in the two new OL, and with Franks and Richardson. Ainge won't see the field this year. Keller will be interesting to watch, but I'd love to see Stuckey come back and step up as the #3 or #4 guy and make a real impact.....

I just hope our defense is as good as it looks on paper. If it is then we can fix our offense next year. Faneca should help our running game in a big way though.

It still appears to lack a key element; a reasonably competent quarterback.

    It boils down to playcalling.

What people failed to accept is that the Conservative playcalling last year was partly attributed to the SNAFU by the FO on Kendall.
The O-Line was horrendous and that created an offense that couldn't throw downfield because they didn't have the time.

We'll have to see if the O-Line can now block a passrush and give the QB's time.

    If not, It's all moot.

The only surefire draft pick for that need went third. After Ryan, it's a crapshoot. We took a QB and maybe he winds up being Brady and maybe he winds up being one of the shlubs that got drafted Brady's year and never went anywhere.
