Vernon Gholston is a given, love the pick instant impact player at end or olb or both he has all the physical skills

Dustin Keller, I did not see this one coming but wow when you look at his numbers he is as fast as most of the WR and faster than the guy I originally wanted (Hardy) he has a better vertical leap, better bench, better shuttle and at 250lbs will create insane match up problems for the opposing teams

Lowry projects at either CB or S, skilled at getting Interceptions, smart reads defences, closes quickly on the ball, recovers quickly and good anticipation

as for the rest of the pick Ainge definately has potential at least as a back-up...... the WR looks good on paper and is tall witha great vertical leap (red zone weapon)........6' 6' 313lb OT we will see what happens

After reading the reports and looking at the combine and video footage I think we did a real good job
Remember its the draft you want guys with high potential.

I'm content.....I'm loving what our defense will look like next year assuming Jenkins can plug the middle. I'm worried about Ellis and Coleman, but our linebackers should be one of the best groups in the league. The secondary is strong enough too; if we get enough pressure we will have tons of interceptions.

In terms of offense, I'm starting to come around to the Keller pick. Assuming Chad's the starting QB, it makes sense to have a great tight end instead of a fast WR. Chad can't reach the receivers anyway, might as well give him a big target with great hands who can create mismatches. The O-line should be a LOT better, but only time will tell if it's enough to get us to the playoffs.

All in all I'm pumped, lets take it to the Pats next year.

I'm mad I'm doing this because I get mad when other posters do this...but who is that in your avatar?

    On the actual football stuff:

Agreed on the D. Our D-line really depends on Jenkins/Pouha, but either way I expect our linebackers corps to look sick. I've been wondering for a long time just how good a LB corps of Thomas - Pace - Harris - Gholston would look like. Now it's actually going to happen...sweet.

Keller is going to be the shit in this offense.

    Oh the irony.

Actually, I was wondering who she was too. Maybe you guys should put their names in your profile or sig or something so people stop asking. I know I asked you about Sasha Grey once.

Btw, if anyone wants to know who the hot babe in my avatar is, just ask! :breakdance:

I actually don't know who the girl in my avatar is, I was lucky enough to come across the picture haha.

    Maybe someone else recognizes her?

I really just wanted to answer and say.. yeah I know who she is.. its my girlfriend.. but.. ahhh yeah..

anyway, I am happy to agree with some comments about the draft.. it is all about potential, every, i mean EVERY team has had draft busts and also guys who were "no names" step up and become decent players.

don't ge tme wrong, I am all for bashing players who don't step up, but lets at least give them a chance...
