    Maynard
    Toon
    Sauer
    Walker

Coles is getting ready to pass Wesley and Keyshawn would be near the top had he played a few more years here.

I watched him for 90% of his career, Maynard was a great player, but did not have 4.4 speed, your mistaken, maybe 4.55, he admitted himself in several interviews, which surprised me also. Joe Willie said it in an interview also about Don's ability to get open deep, he had great moves and cuts....

I agree with this order. However, you can't say Coles is going to surpass Walker. It's not about longevity. If it were you couldn't put Sauer on your list. It's about talent, and Coles will never ever remotely be the threat established by Wesley.

Walker was a better deep threat and had better speed but that's about the only advantage he had over Coles. He had terrible hands and shouldn't have been alot better than he was. he was still very good but could have been great, Coles is bigger, tougher, better hands. I'd take Coles over Walker b/c of the inconsistent hands.

my vote is walker--if for no other reason than the team he scored the most tds against--you guessed it, Miami--he owned them.

He was an excellent special teams player and a decent receiver.

Wasn't he voted the team MVP in 1991?

If Burkett wasn't the MVP, he could/should have been. I loved it when the fins Mark Clayton guaranteed Miami would beat the jets in the 91 season finale and go to the playoffs. When the jets won in Miami, I saw a clip of Burkett saying he was looking for Clayton after the game to ask him about his guarantee, but couldn't find him. Sweeeeeeet.

Burkett had a huge punt block in the first Miami game at home in 1991.

Yep, he was an excellent role player for us. Great STer and a good # WR who came up big on alot of 3rd downs. We had a great group of WRs in '91- Toon, Moore, Burkett and Mathis. It doesn't get much better than that.

Ironically Toon didn't catch a TD pass all year until the playoff game, and O'Brien played all 16 games. That was his guy, too.

Suprised not that many Chrebet nominations. In terms of likability and the whole underdog or rocky balboa phenomenon it doesnt get any better than Chrebet. In fact the Jets as an organization stand for underdog if you ask me.
