ESPN in talks with NFL Network

    ESPN might corrupt it, but it would also likely make it more interesting at times. It's a good channel, and the NFL coverage is also good, but this would make me be able to watch it again, so I'd love it.

    If ESPN can also resurrect NFL Films I'm all for it as well.

    I bet they talked mostly about The Patriots, and rarely about The Jets.

    Pats were 16-0; Jets were 4-12. Sure we don't get as much respect sometimes, but now is not the time to complain.

    Put Inside the NFL on ESPN too, and I'll be thrilled.

    I don't think Comcast, Time Warner, and the other cable companies are going to give up without a fight. The real reason they've played hardball with the NFL Network is because they want a piece of the Sunday Ticket, which is a huge money maker - and is an exclusive of their competition, DirecTV. That hasn't changed, so this is by no means over.

    This is really bad, ESPN is the biggest pile of shit on tv and I really enjoy watching NFL network coverage during the season...if they merge nfl network will become just as shitty as bspn

    F' time warner. I remember the first time I was able to get the NFL net. was the first year they turned bitch and cut out programming...since then I went DirectTV.

    I smell a new ESPN line up of: ESPN, ESPN2, EPSNews, ESPN Classic and, coming soon, ESPNfl.....

    Well my cable gets NFLNetwork now so lets hope that if it becomes ESPN nfl i still get it.
