Ok. All this week at Mike and the Mad Dog the fat one kept talking how the Jets fans are being "over confident" and not respecting the Patriots. He also had said that the kicker will not be a factor because the game won't even be close. Another point he took was that the whole season we kept biting our tongues and haven't said anything but now that we are in the playoffs a few jets players and the fans are getting out of hand. I completely disagree with him especially the part about the Jets fans which is why I wanted to put a poll to get an idea on how the majority feels.

Jets fans don't have to respect the Patriots. We don't play the game.

I agree with a few other posts I have seen on the forum, this difference in this game will be a turnover.

Whether that turnover is committed by the good guys or the bad guys is 50/50 in my opinion, and they can take that 9 point spread and shove it.

I would say the Jets are at a distinct disadvantage based on overall experience, overall talent, and playing in Foxboro. However, the Jets have a shot because of Mangini and we have played them twice already. It is difficult to blow out a team that has played you close in two games already this season.

Yes, it's the Jets fans that are too cocky. Not the Pats fans. Go ahead - ask a Pats fan what he thinks about the game on Sunday. Think he'll say "You guys have a great team. It will be a close game. Let the best team win." I doubt it.

its going to be very tough. we won the 2nd game but the conditions were terrible and Brady couldn't get the ball down the field. Also he turned the ball over i think twice. Brady hasn't had a pickoff in in liike 5 games and he usually rises to the occassion for the playoffs. We can't stop the run and I think they are going to try to run it down our throats. We on the other hand need to have a perfect game and do everything correctly to stand a chance. If we win it probably be by a field goal but we have a shot.

This proves my point. The fat guy doesn't know what he is talking about. Deep inside he wants the Jets to lose. Our fans are the greatest fans and LETS GOT JETS

Mike and Maddog have never really liked the Jets, ever. Yeah, there was some marginal kisses thrown out when BP was here, but that is it. I stopped listening to these pompous, ego-maniac, "I am sportscasting God", morons over 3 years ago and I have not looked back.

They are easily my most hated of all of the radio personalities.

I hope they get to each major humble pie as the Jets rock this world all the way to a SuperBowl Win. That would be about as glorious as it gets.

Win or Lose...This was a great season compared to the last few. The future looks bright. I haven't felt this good about the Jets since the playoff win against SD.

As far as Sunday....Hey this is why they play the game....You know what they say...."On any Given Day".

Maybe it is their destiny like the Steelers last year.....GO JETS!!!!!

The only time they gave the jets any respect was when Parcells was there... and that was only due the fact that Mike is up Parcells ass....and the respect didn't even come till after the 98 season... I remember after the Indy loss that year (our last reg season loss) they were saying "See, same old jets... they're not going anywhere" Then we finished 12 -4 and these two were acting like they were the biggest belivers ever from the beginning... made me sick...

...they are all about whatever the flavor of the week is... notice how fast they got on and off the Tony Romo bandwagon.... so what do they do? go back to old faithful and Tom Brady is god talk...

    Lowery is a baller

Last night vs the browns Lowery looked like the 1st round pick and Gholston like the 4th. Lowery was .10th of a second slower then the 1st and 2nd round DB's at the combines. .10th of second is a big deal if it were track and field not Football. Lowery is gonna give J miller a run for his money at opening conner position. Lowery is always making plays , Jets got a good one again with 4th pick

Yes, but why bump up a completely random thread from over a year and a half ago, about the Jets-Pats playoff game, which has nothing to do with Dwight Lowery?
