The Madden Curse is undergoing something that has never happened to its cover athlete - a trade. Name me a player who played very well for his team in a season, was named the Madden Cover Athlete, and was then traded? Don't worry, i'll wait. The Curse affects teams that had a good season the previous year. The Jets went 4-12. As far as affecting the athlete personally, Favre has already endured enough crap since he changed his mind about retiring. Don't look for the Madden Curse to have an impact on the Jets this season. Just look for #4 behind center.
Aslong as when the game drops he's wearing a Packers uni on the cover and not a jets uni then the curse is disabled.
The game cases have already been produced. Millions and Millions of Green Bay Favres are making their way to the stores. We shouldn't see a manufactured Jet cover ever. Downloading it doesn't count.

I cant justify to my girlfriend why i would go out at midnight to wait in line for a game. That and the line is always pretty ghetto. I will wait till tomorrow morning.
