Coles and Favre were talking for a while during the Cleveland game. You could see them clearly during the telecast, both were in street clothes. That was Favre's first day with the team, too. I don't think it will be a problem--one guy makes a ton of money to throw a football and the other makes a ton of money to catch a football, they'll figure it out.
We should have kept Chad! Remember Favre's last pass as a Packer? He's already saying his arm hurts after 5 days of camp!
I honestly think the reason Coles isn't talking to the media is because he knows they're a bunch of assholes who only want to stir the pot a little. You just know Cimini, cynical asshole that he is, is merely going to take whatever LC says and twist it into a controversial story. Coles could say that he's looking forward to playing with Brett, and since that's not juicy enough, some of the reporters will quote "well known sources" that Coles is really fuming.
Probably. Sometimes if you're pissed about something the best thing to do is say nothing, especially when the media is crawling around looking for a story/controversy, as you said.
Hah you wish! I don't care if coles has his best year ever! I won't even be happy with the best year in the history of the NFL by a reciever! I want some season so rediculous, Coles could retire right after the superbowl and be directly inducted into Canton! Screw the alotted 4 year wait! Note: to the retardedly slow, this is sarcasm
Can all this MAN-LOVE for farvre just stop? He is a football player, thats all! As long as he wins, I dont care if he sleeps with sheep!
I think Coles is just upset that he might get blisters on his hands with Favre throwing the ball to him.
Brett will spread the ball around, but he has favorites, like Donald driver. Brett is all about winning, drop too many balls Brett stops trusting. Ask Babb Franks Coles should be ok. Brett made a lot of good receivers great and average receivers good. Give Brett a running game and you will average 28 points a game.
Coles is a warrior on the field but his attitude is shit... Favre is god he doesent need to reach out to a money hungry tyrant like Coles.
While I know this time the whining isn't about his contract, prior to the next time he does, can someone please show Coles this quote... Asked if he deserves more money, QB Tom Brady said, “No. I don’t ever feel underpaid. No. Not at all.” (If anyone has outperformed his contract, it's Tom Brady.) http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/...ce_to_quell_concerns/srvc=patriots&position=1
Favre should just throw a laser at Coles' cup when he isn't looking like they did in "The Longest Yard".
