Most of you know that Vegas sucks with no true bar to call home. Last season started out great at Bugsy's, but as the season progressed, the bennies regressed and don't forget about the shootings at the place. It never was a Jets bar... Soooooo, this year a few of us have been scouting the area for a new place to call home. Stay tuned as we are confirming a place near 215 & Durango.
Jesus there were shootings at Bugsy's? Nice; hopefully some Pats fan getting it in the teeth. They did have great Chicken cutlets at that place though...... those are tough to find here man. If that place you are talking about is Bomas I think they advertised they were a Jets bar and then had no clue when somebody went in there. Honestly Skinny's sucked but that was certainly a Jets/Giants bar. I think they closed again BTW. Honestly we should just show up at some BWW and demand they make it a Jets bar.

Fight the good fight brothers. 215 and Durango is like 5 minutes from my place. The only place I've developed any pull is Southpoint Casino. They got a quiet tequila bar upstairs that could use some regulars. It would actually make a good spot other than the lack of a big screen. I'll try to stop by there on my weekly visits and get some info. Are there any more than the 3 of us?
BTW the bar at Southpoint is Miguel's and they have an adjacent GOOD mexican place. There is also a little cantina at Silverton where we're tight with 2 bartenders. They might be able to put in a good word for us refugees. A non-casino bar would be ideal though, but we have some potential backups.

Hah, I live in a south facing condo at Manhattan (not a coincidence) on Serene. I can probably see your old place from my patio and windows.
I live on Eastern and 215...there's a place I got to every Sunday called the Inn Zone on St. Rose and Eastern that NOBODY goes to....the place has a great setup with a stadium style setup of 40-50 inch TV's, plus another half dozen TV's. The service is pretty awful but the the setup up is fantastic and drinks are pretty cheap (yes, even in Vegas).
I think they have just added sports books to the Inn Zones. Honestly if you don't mind the drive the Hilton Superbook is an unreal place to watch all the games on Sundays but I understand the need for a Jet bar. I don't live too far from 215 and Durango either so that place would be great. If you guys are looking for college bars the Buffalo Wild Wings on Flamingo and Hualapi is great. Of course this weekend I'll be at the UNLV/Utah State game. I did get a text from LV Coach about any bars but honestly I think we should just pick a place and make it our bar. I'll have to think about a good one and get back to you guys though. BTW I know there are lot of Jet fans in Vegas that don't post here. The key is getting the word out to them.

Jets Bar In Vegas Okay, I stopped in this place called JR's on the corner of Durango & Russell. (not far from 215) Spoke with the manager and couple of bartenders. The owner is from Nu Yawk. He said he usually is more a Giants fan, but would welcome us Jets fans with open arms... I say let's show up at the bar on Sunday...even if the game is on national tv. I'll be there by 9:30am...wearing my new Revis jersey. I unfortunately had to retire my Chad jersey... Give me a call if you're interested.... 275-3245
Jeff, Yes, I'm not planning on the Raiders game this year, but will be going to the 49ers game on Dec. 7.
Oh yeah used to be Mulligans..... right down the road from me. I'll be flying in from Salt Lake in the morning. Going to watch UNLV get pummeled by Utah. Hopefully I can drop my son off and head on over to watch the J-E-T-S. Hey Marco your brother still around? We gotta get the word out about this place then. Hopefully coach and his wife will be there. I dropped Sunday ticket this year so I'll be out and about to watch the games this year. Still debating on going to San Fran or Seattle. My wife loves both cities and so do I.
