I'm DEAD serious. The ONLY reason you beat SD at home in the playoffs was because they were without Tomlinson, Gates was badly hurt and so was Rivers. You barely beat a horrible Baltimore team and a horrible Philadelphia team. And you barely beat the Jets at home. Like I said. You weren't nearly as good as you think you were. Sorry, but you got VERY lucky down the stretch

Sure...Getting lucky against the Giants in week 17. Not sure how LT, Gates, and Rivers being injured was of NE design....but luckily beating Balt, Philly and a gawd awful NYJ team was not of design.

Great response. Seriously...Do you think they played well against those teams? Were they a complete team? They couldn't run the ball. Defense was old and at best were decent...not great. Fact is they got very lucky down the stretch.

Its a matter of teams slowly figuring things out to the point that each picks up on each others game plans and goes with what worked. The Jets were slightly 1st, then Baltimore then Philly, then the Giants in the regular season. It took the Giants again to finally put it all together.

I will say this - If the Pats played a team that didn't play them in the regular season (Green Bay), they would have won the SB.

To quote Dom Toretta .... "Ask any racer. Any real racer. It don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning."

I'd rather be lucky than good any day.

The final test is whether you win or not. And the Pats (much as I hate it) have just kept on winning the last few years. So you have to hand it to them. Luck or not.

if you're gonna quote someone, at least spell their name right. Its Toretto, it always was Toretto. And yes, good quote. I agree with the damn Pats fan too....

Speaking of collecting, I guess I'll be donating 100 bucks to cancer research this week. Gholston has no chance of sacking Brady this year now.
